Thank you SO much Therapist Development Center for your amazing study system! I passed the CA LCSW Standard Written Examination today and have TDC to thank! I felt confident entering the exam today, and although there were times I felt anxious about certain questions, I utilized Amanda's strategies and even brought her voice into the test with me for those difficult questions. I reviewed the material for the Vignette twice, tried to do everything that was suggested and passed the FIRST TIME so obviously IT WORKS! THANK YOU AMANDA and all of the wonderful staff that assisted me in passing both tests. I took AATBS and the Gerry Grossman's Courses and failed the LCSW Written twice. With your course, TDC, I passed both exams first time. This speaks volumes for the course instructor! THANK YOU! Feels like a 400 lbs backpack has been taken off myback! And having about 27% Irish Blood (from DNA test) passing on St. Patrick's Day made it even more memorable! Luck o' the Irish works too! THANKS AGAIN!
This study system was GREAT!!!! I highly recommend it to anyone preparing for the LCSW exam. My study partner and I each purchased a study system. I purchased TDC and she purchased AATBS. Simply put TDC was waaaaaayyyyy easier to follow, the rationales were clear, and the material was organized. I eventually only used TDC as we found the other system to be confusing. They provided ample material to study, several test questions, but nothing else. TDC also provided the material, but also provided us with the mental coaching to "attack the test". TDC was a huge boost in confidence. I felt super prepared for the first exam and felt really confident while taking the exam. I finished the first test with ample time left check my answers. The second exam was a bit tougher, but I was prepared and trusted my initial answers as TDC prepared us to do. My partner and I passed both exams on our first attempts. It all paid off and I am happy to say I and my study partner are LCSW's!!!! If you have struggling to decide which system to go with...This is definitely it. I am recommending this to all my MSW friends. Thanks TDC!!!!!
The testing taking strategies and framing questions were especially helpful. Heed TDC's advice by reading the questions carefully and honor your "X's", which will definitely save you precious time and much grief!
