Social Work Exam Prep Reviews

Kathleen Rutherford, LMSW

I took the test this past Monday, August 3rd. When I took the first pretest, after being out of school for 4 years with no studying, I got a 64. After going through the program twice I took the test. On the test I took 95 questions needed to be answered correctly to pass, and I answered 133 correctly! The study materials were very helpful! Thank you!

I want to thank the Therapist Development Center for their excellent winning system!!! I passed my LCSW exam on the first try. Many of the questions on the exam were similar in form and/or content to ones I have seen through the Therapist Development Center. One of the most valuable features of this program is that it teaches you to think like the test administrators. If you know the DSM V frontwards and backwards, are an expert on theory, know all the drug names, etc., but don't know how the test administrators want you to approach the test items, you are at a huge disadvantage. Also, this program did a great job of narrowing the material down that the test is over. There is so much to cover in social work, that it would have been overwhelming to not have clear, concise guidelines on the high points to study. I also like the visual and auditory combo provided in the program. I was able to listen to the audio component over and over again while driving. Thank you Therapist Development Center!!!

I've been reading these reviews here and there throughout my process of studying to visualize myself being the one to write a review like you all reporting that I passed. Now here I am, saying I PASSED with TDC!!!! Thank GOD for this program and for my consultant Bethany who guided me throughout the process. Bethany was amazing and awesome. She helped me understand certain rationales that I had a hard time comprehending. She really gave me a better understanding in everything I had difficulty with. I was able to talk to her the weekend before my exam and the day of! She reminded me of the important tips to keep in mind. Anyways, all in all ALL of the material was very much helpful. Everything from the 50 topics to the full mock exams. They really know how to prepare you. I passed by 10 points over. I think the most important thing to note about studying with TDC is that not only did I pass the exam and feel confident during the test but that I seriously feel more confident in my professional development. Thank you thank you thank you Amanda, Bethany, and the rest of the team.

I had previously failed the exam in February 2016. I had used an online program that had you download material and study it. This did not work! Your program was very beneficial and helped me to pass! I think what was different is the audio sessions. It helped to hear the information in order to comprehend what the test may be asking. It seemed like most of the test was on ethics and values. I'm so glad I found your program! Thank you again.

I was terrified to take this exam. I have a real hard time studying and focusing. The presenters of this program relate real experiences to help understand concepts. I failed the first time by one point, but this site made a promise they would help me pass and I did yesterday. I would recommend any new social worker out there to use this program because it will give you the extra guidance you need to conquer this exam.
