Therapist Development Center’s (TDC) corporate giving program is called the TDC Tzedakah Foundation, which means “righteous behavior” or “justice” in Hebrew.
TDC founder and CEO Amanda Rowan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and visionary philanthropist. Amanda created the Tzedakah Foundation (Tzedakah) to support a variety of nonprofits close to her heart.
Youth Leadership Program
Tzedakah supports a youth leadership program that teaches teens how to be effective interns and community leaders.
After completing a two-week Tzedakah leadership training program, teens choose a nonprofit to intern with. For the past two years, Tzedakah program graduates have chosen to intern with the Strategic Alliance to Fight Exploitation (SAFESB) and developed personal “passion projects" to fight back against human exploitation. Each teen's project is detailed on SAFESB’s website.
Tzedakah program graduates continue to fight back against human exploitation by starting and running “Students For Survivors” clubs at their respective High Schools. A main objective of the Tzedakah Teen Internship Program is to spread awareness among teens in their own schools and social communities.

Tzedakah Scholarships
This initiative supports mental health professionals by reducing the financial barriers to professional development resources. Awards are administered through local professional associations and are based on candidates' commitment to personal growth, motivation to serve their community, and current economic circumstances.
