Social Work Exam Prep Reviews
I have tried to pass the CA LCSW Clinical Vignette Exam on three other occasions and each time using other testing materials. I was so disappointed at one point that I even consider giving up on getting license. I am so grateful that a friend recommended the Therapist Development Center because there is no way I would had passed the exam without this material. What I like about the Therapist Development Centers material is how simple it was to use. I also felt that the Therapist Development Center vignettes were consistent with what was on the real exam. I think that the DSM review and law/ethics sections were both superbly explained. I would highly recommend this testing materials for anyone planning to take the CA LCSW Clinical Vignette Exam. Thank you so much Therapist Development Center!
Thanks for keeping me focused! Your program works and I'm going to tell all my colleagues about your program so they can pass the exam as well!
This program saved me from the abyss of "I can't do this!" I bought another test prep's companies materials, and it seemed like the harder I studied, the worse I did on the practice exams. It was so frustrating, and I felt like giving up. So, glad I found Therapist Development Center on recommendation from an acquaintance. The concise audio and interactive worksheet format was just what I needed to really learn the material! Thank you!!!
I passed both times on my first try and did not use any other study material. This program is particularly perfect for the clinical vignette exam. The mock exams were VERY similar to the actual test. I felt extremely prepared and felt as though the actual exam was easy because of this study program. Thank you TDC!
I loved your system and before studying with it had considered getting neuro-psych testing and trying to get accommodations; when I looked at the BBS's sample questions I thought i would lose my mind if I even attempted the real test. I listened to your system for about 10 days straight, each section several times as I walked my dog. (She loved your system also :) Finally I felt ready, and made a date to go in to take the exam. I finished every question, and used the extra 10 or 12 minutes I had left over to go back to the ones I marked to re-examine. I heeded your advice about not spending too much time on any one question--- if it was a tough question for me, it would be tough for anyone. I created a grid exactly as you'd instructed. I live in MA and don't know what it's like to work in CA but have been licensed here for a few decades so do know how to be a seasoned social worker. The bottom line is that once I started using your system in earnest, I began to love studying. I felt on fire, excited by the material and the review of what I knew. I wanted to take the test, and by the time it came around, I *knew* I would pass because of what and how I studied (ie., following your instructions). It made me wish I'd gone to medical school and braved the MCATS---as for the first time in my life, you and your system made me feel very confident and gave me a clear understanding of how standardized tests actually work. I loved your teachings re the frames, which allowed me the confidence to choose enough correct answers to pass. WOOOOO HOOOOO!!! Thank you, Amanda and team; I felt very well taken care of by you!
