Social Work Exam Prep Reviews
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Amanda Rowan and Bethany V! First of all, your voice was pleasant to listen to, the material was very organized, the terms, defense mechanisms and the 50 topics were helpful, and the quizzes and mocks were necessary in passing the exam. All of the information given was helpful. I'm not gonna lie, I spent hours and hours studying. I got 113 questions right and passed it the first time. Your pep talk, and exercise and nutrition plan advice was excellent. I actually could hear your voice during the exam that soothed me. I talked it out and conquered it! Thank you again. I would give you a big Texas hug if I saw you. Oh, by the way I told two people about your program who both also purchased it. I was able to study with one of them who had gone through the program! I am elated and you are my new hero!
As a public health professional (MPH), I added the MSW to my training and was faced with the LMSW exam having never practiced in the capacity of a social worker. My distance-learning MSW education did not focus on the exam and we were left to figure it out solo after graduation. I tried another pricey prep program developed by a retired professor and found myself 'drowning' in volumes of information without a clue what was pertinent to the exam. Frustrated, I tossed all these study guides aside, enrolled in the TDC prep and immediately found it to be amazingly organized, efficient and extremely easy to follow. Not only did my knowledge base expand in the key testing areas, but my confidence soared watching myself master the materials as I continued to listen to the audio lessons and test repeatedly. All I can say is I PASSED my first try! Another one of my classmates enrolled and we are the only two of many many MSW students who passed the first time around...priceless. Don't hesitate, this IS the best prep course out there and an absolutely bargain in terms of your time and chances of passing! Good luck!
When I first took the test I got a 96 and needed a 99. I was devastated and had difficulty figuring out how to efficiently prepare for the exam. I had a wedding coming up, my 2 years was about to expire, and I had very few opportunities left to pass the exam. My supervisor suggested that I use your resources, so when I purchased the Therapist Development Center study guide, I decided to commit myself to your methodology. As I was going through your study guide, there were so many things I realized I was doing incorrectly when preparing for this exam. I started your program 2 weeks before the test, and I just passed today with a score of 121, needing at least 98 to pass. The two things I wanted to convey to you are the following:
1. THANK YOU!!!
2. I think that even if people are not taking the exam, they should go through your course because this mindset will help you become the social worker you really should be when in practice. Looking back on my 2 years, there are things I would do so much differently if I had the opportunity to apply this thought process to my practice. This mindset will make you a better clinician, and will help you be more efficient when working with clients. I hope this wasn't a corny thank you, but this study guide was paramount in my passing score.
Thank you so much for all the guidance and support!! I definitely had your voices in my head which was an amazing guiding force!!
This program was highly organized, easy to use and explained clearly what I needed to know for the exam and to help me gain further knowledge in my practice as a Social Worker. This exam prep was a life saver. I did not feel overwhelmed by the amount of information and it gave me everything I needed to know to study in an effective way. Thank you.
