I highly recommend the Therapist Development Center program. It took me a little longer than most to pass. The test also changed during my attempts. I passed the Law and Ethics exam on my first try. This has given me the confidence to now tackle the LCSW test. I am so grateful to Amanda and her colleagues for their patience and allowing me to continue with the study guide until I passed.

I had previously taken the LMSW/LSW exam three times before finding the Therapist Development Center (taken the exam five times before passing). I had used the program first for my fourth exam and originally failed by 5 test questions. I didn't use TDC to it's full potential and felt that because I already "knew" the material I didn't have to study it. However, when exam number five was scheduled I really wanted to use all the tools TDC had to offer. I used the TDC schedule and created my own study schedule to keep me on track. I listened to the lectures over and over again - until I truly thought maybe Amanda and Emily could be my friends after this. I took notes on my computer, printed them and took more notes. I studied the quizzes and tests. I wanted to know why I wasn't passing and TDC helped me understand that everything I was feeling was due to test anxiety. Without TDC I don't know how many exams I would've taken. I am so glad I found the TDC when I did. The program itself is not only wonderful, but the staff is beyond amazing as well in terms of being understanding and answering questions, no matter how "stupid" they may be. And now I can finally submit my state license application and begin doing the work that I truly love!
