I had referred several coworkers to this program but had not signed up myself because I am a recent graduate and had done extremely well on the online practice exams from other companies. I did not pass the first time I took the actual Law and Ethics exam and I know it was because I was not prepared to take the exam as it is written. Ms. Rowan does a phenomenal job in rationalizing answers to assist social workers in understanding the reasoning behind the correct answers. I am also someone who has a difficult time with paying attention to detail when I'm being timed, so the multiple practice exams and mock finals were a tremendous help in making me realize I had plenty of time to slow down and process the questions.
TDC provided me an organized and efficient study plan. When I tried to study without TDC, I really had no idea how to go about it. Thanks TDC!
This was an excellent prep class. The content was presented in a form that was easily assimilated. The strategies for approaching questions within different content areas were equally well articulated. I will shortly be signing up for the prep class for the LCSW clinical exam!
I originally applied to the State of California for licensure. I used AATBS study materials but honestly felt overwhelmed with no direction or guidance. I just read and studied literally everything. I took the exam and missed by 1 point. During the exam I felt like I was getting the answers wrong, it was not what I expected at all and was much harder than I had expected. Afterwards I moved to Florida and applied for licensure in Florida. Friends told me about The Therapist Development Center so I purchased the study system for my ASWB exam. WOW what a difference! I felt like I had direction and knew what to study and focus on. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances there was a delay in taking my test however Therapist Development Center kindly extended my study time. Well today I took my test and what a difference. I honestly felt like I knew the answer to nearly every question. As Amanda says, I was able to 'tease out' the answers. I wasn't sure of using the TDC system and I passed with flying colors! I was ecstatic!! A sincere thank you to the Therapist Development Center for your outstanding study system. You do not know how much this means to me! The best to all of you and thank you again.
It's Official! After nearly two months waiting for what I already knew in my heart, I finally received notice from PSI that I passed the Law and Ethics Exam! Thanks to Therapist Development Center, I was more than prepared for this new pre-requisite exam for Clinical liscensure in the State of California. The quick-study modules, mock exams, and audio lectures not only taught me to THINK and and apply my knowledge of law and ethics, I believe it has made me a better clinician overall. I am now studying for the ASBW exam with Therapist Development Center and have NO DOUBT I will pass that one too on the first try! Don't think about using any other study program...This one is the BEST! Thank you Amanda Rowan and everyone at Therapist Development Center!
