Social Work Exam Prep Reviews
Thank you Therapist Development Center for assisting me in organizing myself so that I could be ready for this test. I Passed! :)
I used TDC for the Standard Written Exam in CA and the ASWB exam and all I can say is TDC rocks! I had so much support from Bethany along the way and going into the test I felt confident. Even though I was not sure how I was doing, I felt like I knew enough of the material and had so many skills to answer the questions and try to figure it out by eliminating the bad choices or putting things in order etc. etc. It really works! Thanks TDC I am finally licensed!
I can genuinely say I passed because of TDC!!! I had the opportunity to buy another 'Study Program' at a super discounted price through my employer, and so I began to study with that one... Not for me. It confused me more than anything for many reasons including the overload of information (which I never saw on the exam), their lack of actually explaining how to answer questions and think through them to figure out the correct answer, and no real 'plan' to prepare! TDC genuinely saved me, I was able to pass on my first try... nerves and all! I still use some of the skills we learn from Amanda in my everyday clinical work! Thank you so much for being all about us learning & passing vs. just making money.
I was well prepared for the clinical exam with the study material provided by TDC. I had taken the exam twice, before the restructure of the California exams, and used other study material and did not pass. I used TDC study material when I took the law & ethics and the clinical exam and passed both exams on the first attempt. The study schedule, topics covered and quick studies were all very helpful and boosted my confidence while studying and taking the exam. Thank you so much for helping me pass the exams
I took the exam in March using the TDC. I went through the material once and felt prepared but not confident. Due to some personal pressures and timelines I went ahead with the test. I took the exam and missed it by one point. That was a heavy and disappointing feeling. In July, I decided to start studying again, this time with the sole focus and goal of passing. I read, listened to the lectures and took the unlimited quizzes more than 4-5 times each. I took the mock exams and felt satisfied with my passing percentages. I reviewed the last week really focusing on what wasn't clicking and sticking in my brain and reviewed until I really absorbed the concepts and could apply them to practice. And I am glad to say that I passed the LCSW Law and Ethics Exam. As I was testing I could feel the confidence build with each question. I knew the information. I thought my results would come in the mail, so when I was checking out in the lobby, to my pleasant surprise the staff told me I passed. I think my belief that I wouldn't find out my score today helped relieve my stress, worries and fears. The lobby and wait was less intimidating this time. I look forward to my next exam. I will take it in two months. I feel prepared and confident that I will enter that testing center in October ready to pass and leave as a licensed social worker. Thank you to Robin for all the QUICK, SOLID and SUPPORTIVE email responses. Even on the weekend. TDC is great, the program is easy to follow, clear, organized, relevant and I would recommend to any Intern studying for licensure. I mostly love the ease and mobility of using the website on a cellphone, tablet or computer.
