MFT Exam Prep Reviews
TDC is excellent! The Clinical Vignette prep class teaches you the exact strategies you need to pass the exam. I felt confident going into the exam, applied the strategies and finished with time to spare. Thanks TDC for helping me get licensed!
I took another prep course two years ago while I was pregnant and all it did to me was confuse me more. After 6 months of studying I was more lost than before I started that program. 2 years later, with a toddler at home, I was able to study with the Therapist Development Center for 5 weeks and pass the test on the first try. Amanda, I can't thank you enough for providing such an amazing program! It truly allowed me to have a life, keep my sanity, learn and be able to be present for my child. Can't wait to pass the 2nd exam with your program.
Thanks a million!
TDC's study materials and Amanda's lectures prepared me for the MFT standard written exam. The lecture series were very succinct and to the point. The questions in the TDC mock exams were similarly worded and mirrored the format in the real exam. The study rules and guidelines that Amanda provided were helpful when I got stuck in the exam. I was able to think through the scenarios, focus on what the question was asking for, and discern the right answer from options that were very similar. I would and did recommend TDC to another person preparing for the MFT exams.
I think the best part of TDC is that Amanda teaches you how to *think* about the material, not just memorize information. I felt very prepared for the SWE and was so glad I brought a snack like Amanda suggested! It's so important to take at least one break. I didn't feel like the exam was too hard, it just gets tiring to sit in front of a screen for so long!
I thought TDC prepared me very well for the exam. I had very little time to study working full time and other responsibilities, and TDC helped me be very efficient in my studying. The strategies they teach is def what helped me pass, the material we already know, but how to tease out the correct ans after narrowing it down to the last 2 answers is what helped me pass on my first try. The questions were not verbatim from the mocks, but you have to find the nugget in the question to see what they are actually testing. Framing was critical for me and got me through the wordy questions. Thanks TDC!!
