This training has changed how I practice and it is learning a humanistic new language to working with those who have suicidal thoughts. I appreciate this training and this approach and hope to learn more about integrating this approach into my practice and non-profit as I believe this method is far more effective than any other training I have ever taken.

Great Course. I was dreading the topic as I am already busy and full time LCSW. But I really appreciated that you started with the therapist POV. YES. I am the filter by which I interact with a client. How I feel about the topic of suicide is important.
Starting with this approach of therapist POV provided more space to consider another's suffering. I am thankful for Amanda's honest story. I believe her when she speaks about this topic. Also, I was a huge fan of discussion of spirituality and coping skills in a therapeutic humanistic approach.
