Before finding the Therapist Development Center, I felt completely overwhelmed by the scope of the ASWB Clinical exam. What immediately set this program apart was the organized, step-by-step study plan. It removed all the guesswork, allowing me to focus my limited time efficiently.

The LICSW exam prep was an excellent, structured program that made it very clear what I needed to study and when. This program removes the stress of having to figure out what to study, which frees up space in your mind to learn the subject matter and how to take the test. The inclusion of quick study sheets, quizzes, and multiple mock tests helped me feel very prepared and allowed me to track my improvement over time. I passed on my first try!

This was my second time taking the LCSW and I passed! After failing the first time I went back to what helped me with my LSW, which was TDC. The course is very structured, explains each topic well, and exams were super helpful. I highly recommend to anyone taking either test. I felt way more prepared and confident going in after completing this program.

My journey to taking the LCSW was an unconventional one. For personal reasons, I took a long hiatus from clinical practice. I graduated from my MSW program in 2000. Obtaining my LCSW was an unfinished goal. At the encouragement of a friend, I purchased this program and began studying. I've been away from academics and clinical practice for some time- the thought of taking this exam was daunting. I did not pass on my first or second exams, I missed by 10 points on the first and 7 on the 2nd. But, I did not give-up. I am thankful that the TDC allows participants to have continued access until a person has successfully passed. I am beyond excited to say that I am now an LCSW, as I passed my exam last week! I appreciate the thorough format and informative lectures. Thank you very much!

Now that I've taken the exam and am familiar with the material and questions asked on the exam, I feel that the Therapist Development Center study kit is the best kit to use, because it does cover all material that was on the exam and best prepares you for the reasoning questions without giving you too much unnecessary information to overwhelm you. Practice, practice, practice the "Best, Next, and First" questions and strategies, it is the majority of the test and feels deceptively easy to answer, but it's not!

Utilized the study material to start studying 12 days before the exam. Passed the exam despite short study time.
