Just passed my clinical exam today - First attempt! Glad that's over with. For anyone unsure of where to turn to regarding exam prep, TDC is the place to go. I surveyed other programs before I began studying, and the confidence of the coaches is what compelled me to trust TDC. It is well worth the investment knowing that they covered pretty much everything you need to know to pass. The Clinical exam is definitely a different beast, but I felt very confident going into the exam. My passing score was within 1 or 2 points of the Final Mock 1 and 2 Exams. So, as noted by TDC, the mock exams are definitely good indicators of readiness. Amanda is correct! You're not going to be working from a set of acronyms to answer each question - they are nonsense. It's based on independent reasoning and clinical judgment. Sure it would be great to apply an intervention you know works, but maybe some other issue is more pressing. TDC helped me pass on my 2nd try. I used other study materials, but always struggled to create a study plan and cover all the needed content. I COULD CRY! TDC, thank you for existing, thank you for answering all my questions and thank you for helping me develop as a professional. 10/10 recommendation.

I took the test for the first time in October 2022 and failed. I really took the exam for granted because I passed the practice test with ASWB and studied some textbooks from graduate school. I read that ASWB was not associated with any prep course programs, so I thought, why waste my money? Well, I have to say, the TDC course increased my score by 30 points. It was the best investment I could have made! Every topic and strategy were on point with the exam. In fact, I almost ran out of time during the first exam, and this time, I had an hour to review flagged answers thanks to Heidi's recommendations. Thank you so much, TDC!

Wonderful, I learned some things I didn't know through the course.

I cannot recommend Therapist Development Center (TDC) enough. Their study materials were instrumental in helping me pass the LCSW exam on my very first attempt! The program broke down complex clinical concepts in a way that was clear, engaging, and easy to retain. The audio lessons fit perfectly into my schedule, allowing me to study consistently during commutes and throughout busy days. More importantly, TDC helped me understand how to think through the exam questions critically rather than simply memorize information.

What truly set TDC apart was the confidence it gave me going into test day. The practice questions, rationales, and exam strategies closely reflected the actual testing experience and helped reduce my anxiety significantly. As someone balancing multiple responsibilities, I appreciated how organized, supportive, and encouraging the program felt from start to finish. Passing the LCSW exam on the first try was a huge milestone for me, and TDC absolutely played a major role in that success.

I can't recommend the TDC program enough for anyone preparing for the ASWB exam. The program was comprehensive, engaging, and did an excellent job preparing me for the breadth of topics I encountered on the clinical exam. The mock exams were especially valuable and very similar to the real exam in style, nuance, and difficulty. In fact, my score on the actual exam ended up being the same as my score on Full Mock Exam #1, which speaks to how accurately TDC reflects exam readiness. I also can’t say enough positive things about the variety of learning formats offered through the audio lectures, quizzes, quick studies, and practice questions. The combination of learning materials made difficult concepts easier to retain while reinforcing both content knowledge and the ASWB way of thinking. Overall, TDC gave me the structure, confidence, and preparation I needed to succeed. By exam day, I genuinely felt like I carried Amanda’s voice into the testing center with me. As I worked through questions, I could hear her explanations and test-taking strategies in my head helping me to slow down and think through the exam the way TDC teaches you to. I will absolutely be recommending this program to anyone preparing for the ASWB exam!

I am deeply grateful for TDC and the support it provided throughout my exam preparation. I needed a 103 to pass and scored a 125. The mock exams and quizzes were especially helpful in preparing me for the structure and style of the test, and I learned so much from listening to the audio files as well.

One strategy that really helped me was putting myself into the vignette and thinking through the question from the clinician’s perspective, especially when determining the “first,” “best,” or “most appropriate” answer. I truly appreciate the guidance and preparation TDC provided.

The course is intensive and challenging, and it paid off to complete in its entirety. I felt the actual exam was very manageable because of the content reviews and practice tests.

There are many study materials to choose from, but I will shout to the rooftops that TDC is the best. I truly felt I understood the WHY behind the answers, the information was clear and concise. The study materials helped me feel more confident, I walked into the test with zero anxiety. I could definitely hear Amanda's voice in my head! Some of my colleagues chose other study platforms and regretted it once they saw how thorough TDC was. I would highly recommend!
