This course really helps structure your studying. It is also very empowering. The multiple forms of studying and practice tests and quizzes really help prepare you for the test, especially how to approach the different types of questions on the test.
TDC was very helpful...showing HOW to do the test and not just remembering info. Thank you all for the help and the extension : ) . For all you overly anxious test takers out there...TDC is the place!
TDC was the best investment of my time and resources I could have made! I came out of the exam in disbelief of how challenging it was, but also how well-prepared I felt as a result of using the TDC program. Beyond the extensive content, my experience of the exam was that it was an emotional marathon. Keeping in mind the TDC tips for success helped me stay focused, not doubt myself, and stay moving throughout the exam. I recommend TDC to anyone preparing for this exam! Thank you to my coach, Asya, for all of the extra tips and moral support along the way. MANY THANKS to everyone at TDC!
Thank you TDC! The material and exams were so helpful! I had major testing anxiety and your last prep talk was very helpful! I would recommend this study course to any one preparing for the exam! Worth my money!
This program was excellent and helped me pass! I heard Amanda's voice telling to "eliminate" and "No you would not do that". Thank-you so much!!!!
Great program. I passed on the first try. Thank you TDC!
I’m an auditory learner, so Amanda’s lectures were very helpful for me. I think it’s the best part of this study program is that it prepared me for the discomfort of not knowing what was going to be on the test and the fact that I wouldn’t know I was passing. I didn’t think I was failing as I took the exam, but I also wasn’t certain that I was passing. Keep up the good work!!
I especially loved how TDC incorporated teaching and learning theories in the development of this study program. This approach made it easy for me to switch up studying methods at any time (e.g., I could chose aural, verbal, spatial and/or the kinesthetic style of learning at any time). Throughout the exam, I kept hearing Amanda's voice say, "Imagine you are in the room with the client(s)," and I did imagine that, often.
I've never been a good test taker and had heaps of anxiety surrounding the LMFT licensing exam. I didn't feel that I could pass on the 1st try regardless of how much I studied.
But I sat for 4 hours with Amanda's voice in my head talking me through the questions, knew what to look for in the stem and moved a long quickly without getting overwhelmed. I eventually got my rhythm and a flow. Without a minute to spare I answered all 170 questions and I PASSED, yessss passed.
I don't think I could have accomplished this without TDC. I will miss my weekends with Amanda's lectures but now having passed I will be in the room with clients and have gained more knowledge and good practice to share with them. ;)
I can not believe that I passed on the first attempt. I am still in shock!!!! I can definitely definitely say that when Amanda says she is with you in the test she really is with you in the test. When I was in front of a super hard question (which there were tons of ridiculous difficult ones) I found myself thinking how would she tackle the question, how do I prioritize and put this in order or how do I keep the answers to be relevant to the thread.
All I can say is that I am so absolutely thankful that I can finally put this process behind me. For those of you taking the test for the first time or if this is your second or third attempt trust the process that Amanda and her coach Asya share with you. It really gives you the confidence and boost you need to get this done and become licensed.
Thank you so much!!!! I am finally licensed!!!!
