Social Work Exam Prep Reviews

Gillian Hinton, LCSW

This program is the reason I passed my LCSW exam. Each section was broken down and simplified in a fashion that allowed me to know what to focus my energy on. The lectures not only focused on the content of the exam but also how to navigate the exam based on keywords and reasoning. Having just taken the exam I can say that the questions on the mock exams are so similar to the exam I felt prepared and confident after a few mins into the real exam. This program is the reason I passed this exam on the first try and above average.

I passed with TDC! I had taken the  LCSW Clinical Vignette exam twice before using Gerry Grossman materials. The  difference between TDC and GG was evident immediately. TDC is a far superior  study method. Gets right to the issues and specific content that you actually need to be successful. If I had stuck with GG, I'm sure I would have failed a third time. I am so grateful.

Jeanette T. Vo-Vu,

I have test anxiety, but this one I felt very well prepared for! I had reviewed sections that I felt I was not quite strong in the night before the exam and listened to the pep talk session. Got a good night's rest. This morning I woke up like I would to get ready for work, had my coffee, breakfast and listened to the pep talk session again.

When I started the exam, I was confident with my responses all the way thru! I also had Amanda in my head, I wore the headset provided by the exam administrator and felt like I was sitting in front of my own computer doing the exam with Amanda. I can't wait to start preparing for the second half!

Thank You Amanda & your team of coaches!

Erin Black,

I embarked on my studying journey with a motley assortment of study materials gathered from friends which included random flashcards, out-dated test information, theory summaries, and a DSM 5.  It was an overwhelming place to start.  I needed to do something better.  I found TDC and when I heard Amanda talking about her program, it immediately resonated with me.  I appreciated the bite-sized chunks of information, the organization of materials, and the simplified presentation of the material.   I listened to the lectures, I completed the worksheets, I took the practice tests. TDC gave me the knowledge, the skills, and the faith that I could pass.  I took the test today, and I feel like it was Amanda's steady reassurance and confidence that carried me through.  I did what she said and she was right the whole way through.  Without the test-taking strategies I learned in this program, and the concise way the information was reviewed and presented, I don't believe I could have passed on my first try!  Thank you thank you thank you TDC.  I'm ready to start my clinical vignette study program with you now!

Sarah Milam,

I am a new mom and life got away from me this year.  I thought I had until the end of October to take the test.  I checked my records at the beginning of September and realized I only had until the end of September.  I had previously bought your system thinking that I would use it last spring. I ended up with 2 and a half weeks to study.  I had to do a lot of cramming, which is not ideal, but I felt confident going in.  Within a few questions, I got a question that was almost word for word from one of your practice tests. That helped my confidence a lot.  I actually felt pretty good throughout the test.  So many questions were things that were discussed very clearly in your lectures.  Thank you for such a clear and concise study program.  I'm now going to purchase the system for the second test.  It has to be completed by November because they are switching over to the next test.  I think 2 months is much more reasonable to give myself.  :)
