Social Work Exam Prep Reviews

Steven Weber, LMSW

I passed the LMSW exam with 125 correct questions (I only needed 96 to pass)!! TDC was the only study guide/preparation I used. Beginning 6 weeks before the test I listened to every audio at least 3 times while making my commutes to work. I went over all the study guides and short tests at least twice. I marked my weak areas on the study guides and quizzes and went over all those really well the night before the test. If I could go back, I'd probably spend more time studying the ethics material and would have read the Code of Ethics one more time before the test, but I am very happy and would definitely suggest TDC to all social workers!

This program provided a very logical guide and gave a great sense of confidence going into both exams.

Thank you for this excellent studying program!! It gave me the confidence and knowledge to pass the exam!!! The material was very clear and concise. Excellent. I have referred the program to all my friends/colleagues that are studying for the exam. Thank you again!

Words cannot express the way that I am feeling right now. I am so excited that I passed my LCSW examination today, 02/12/16!!!!! I would like to thank you all so much for creating this study system. Though I was nervous when I initially started taking the test, I was able to relax after I realized that I knew the material. The practice tests and quizzes prepared me to take this 170 question test. I completed the entire study system in 5 weeks. This system not only helped me to pass the exam, but it also helped me to become a better therapist. I also understand the difference between schizoid, schizotypal, schizophrenia, schizoaffective, and schizophreniform disorders now! ;-)

This was the fourth time that I took the clinical exam. English is not my first language. Since taking the first exam, I noticed that I had a difficult time understanding some of the terminology, and I also ran out of time in my first two exams. On the third exam, two more hours were granted to me. It helped to have that extra two hours, but I struggled reading the questions correctly. I am thankful to God for helping me find TDC. The program helped me learn how to read the questions and how to think about the questions. In addition, it motivated me each day to study. People ask me, did you get frustrated? Did you get depressed? Did your motivation go down when you did not pass the other exams? I answered no, no, and no. I explained to them that there is no giving up in my vocabulary and there is always a way to figure out a problem. You just need to keep yourself straight. On January 23, 2016 I attacked the exam with everything I had. I drank my apple juice during my break and kept going. I was super excited when I read at the end of the exam "Pass." I wanted to scream, but there were other people taking exams next to me. For those who have not yet passed, don't give up. Find your straight and go on. The exam is not going anywhere. Don't allow the exam take over your day or life: you take over the exam.
