Social Work Exam Prep Reviews

Megan Blaikie,

The material was presented in an easy to learn fashion. When I took the practice tests (2nd time) I felt confident that I knew the material. When I took the full mock, I felt much less prepared. I took my test this afternoon and passed! The testing strategies helped me make it
through! So, thank you!

Thank you for helping me become licensed! Providing the quizzes, half mock exams and 2 full mock exams for the ACSW Clinical Exam was so helpful. I feel like these really got me into test mode and helped me practice the strategies and rationales. I would and have recommended you to my social work friends.

Honestly, I struggle with standardized tests. I didn't expect to pass this test the first time. I would not even say I was hopeful. I had a lot of family stress and I am a full-time doctorate student. The Therapist Development Center system was amazing. I was able to study on my time. Review lectures, study notes and the mock quizzes and exams are amazing!!! When I saw "congratulations you passed your LCSW exam" flash upon that test screen... I literally sat there in shock for a minute. Thank you for this great system and for adding the second full-length mock exam.

I finally passed this exam on my 5th try. TDC is wonderful because of the support and knowledge shared to pass the exam. This study guide is straight to the point and does not overwhelm with examples or an explanation which I liked. For those still needing to pass here are some tips:
1. Never give up, keep trying because you do not want to close the window of opportunity. Practice relaxation even if you have to get counseling yourself (I did and I had Hypnosis done on me which helped ALOT!).
2. Practice samples questions every day to desensitize yourself for the exam.
3. Make sure you are very relaxed and do not over think the questions. You should only spend like 1 to 2 minutes on the question and move on.
4. My supervisor for LCSW supervision told me that all the answer choices suck. Choose the least bad one out of all the bad ones. This is true because sometimes you read a question and your are like "What???" Give them what they want to hear and make sure you chose the best out of all the sucky ones to select.
5. It really is impossible to know everything for the exam because we don't know what the exam is going to be like in reality so study what you have and even rely on additional resources if you need it. I needed it, and all of this was a journey and it's bitter sweet. Now, that I can say that I am going to be Licensed I will never stop learning. Things change everyday. Don't give up and we are adaptable.

Thank you so much for your support and I will continue to reach out to support others and stay in touch.

Thank you Amanda for creating such a great study program. Thank you for Bethany for being there as my coach and answering my questions. Just knowing I had someone to reach out to if I needed help eased my anxiety about this test. This program really teaches you how to attack this exam with confidence. It helped me understand how to use my rational thinking skills to look at the answers with logic. I have taken this test before and this program helped to increase my score by 30 points. Thank You, Thank You, Thank you!!!!!!!!! Today I passed my ASWB Clinical exam because of this program!!!!!!!!
