I'm really glad I used the Therapist Development Center to prepare for both the CA Law and Ethics exam and my final clinical exam, which I just passed today! TDC presents the study material clearly and the practice tests/mock exams simulate the actual testing experience. This program helped reduce my anxiety and allowed me to go into the exam feeling confident and ready. I answered 127 questions correctly and only needed 98 to pass. I am happy I passed, relieved the studying process is over, and excited to get my license in the mail! Most of all, I am looking forward to a rewarding career of helping others. Thank you for helping me navigate this process and actualize my goal of becoming a licensed psychotherapist!
Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU Therapist Development Center!!!! I PASSED the Law and Ethics LCSW exam on my first try!! You guys ROCK! I literally started studying 8 days before my exam...so you will probably assume that I was on the verge of a melt down, stressing out about the exam and thinking 'How am I going to pass?!? I only have 7 days until the exam!!!!!" I found that this program was very thorough, comprehensive and it utilized a variety of teaching modalities which would help different types of learners (i.e. audio recording lectures, worksheet tutorials, etc.). I loved how she also explains the scientific and biological information of how to approach the process of studying and how to utilize a variety of methods to help make your studying process/strategies successful. I had literally one week to study and take the exam, so I didn't follow her steps of exercise and eating strategies to make my studying more effective and successful. However, I believe that if I did follow her strategies, I may have scored even higher than I did. Lastly, I loved her approach to studying, the teaching methods and also the fact that this agency/community is truly supportive to our success (they will stay with you until you pass...you can ask for free extensions until you pass and there's a study coach you can reach out to if you have questions). Your entire agency is smazing! Again... thank you! Thank you! Thank you Therapist Development Center! I will be utilizing their other program for the Clinical exam and I will definitely be recommending everyone to you! Thank you for your great work..I couldn't have done this without you! :)
This program really gave me a clear direction to follow in studying for the exam and helped me make the most of my study time.
My test anxiety was immense! I had taken the test right out of graduate school and missed passing by one point. My confidence was shot and contributed to major procrastination on my part. It wasn't until I found your course online that I started to feel like maybe I could pass. The course is well organized and gave excellent explanations in the lectures as to why certain answers were the right ones. I definitely heard Amanda's voice in my head a few times. The critical thinking skills that the course emphasizes are invaluable. After I saw the words: 'you passed!' I cried (alarming some fellow test takers I think) out of sheer relief and happiness. Thank you, thank you, thank you for developing such a well thought out curriculum!! I look forward to the first time I add LCSW to my signature!
I had to take the clinical exam on short notice. This program was outlined very well and helped me to schedule out my study plan, so that I did not have to worry about it myself. I passed the exam on my first shot and I owe a lot of it to this program. Thank you!
