Social Work Exam Prep Reviews

Jennifer Bauer,
I would highly recommend this study program. I recently took the LCSW Law and Ethics exam and passed on the first try. This program made it easy to know what and how to study. It was perfect for someone like me- I have a hard time forcing myself to sit down and study at the computer. I did the majority of my studying listening to the audio portions on long bike rides and walks. My husband joked that it was the perfect program for me (I can always find time to exercise). I plan to purchase the study materials for the ASWB exam as well. I have been out of school for 26 years and I went through the materials twice.

There are not enough words to say how appreciative I am to the Therapist Development Center and the coaches as well as Amanda for what is one of the happiest days in my career as a Social Worker. It was a long time in the development and many times I felt it might not happen and felt life had me confined to not thinking I could achieve this goal, but I trusted and put in the time and felt my confidence grow more and more with each mock exam and review. I knew I was learning and even better than that I was becoming a better social worker. I truly thank God for this moment and allowing me come across the TDC. I highly recommend using it. You will become a better clinician and achieve your goals. Thanks again.
Ta'Shanne W. Horn,
I am very grateful for this program and delighted that I passed. I feel the materials that were covered provided me with a good foundation. Onward to the next exam!

I am so excited to be logging on to this site for the last time! I took my Clinical exam for the LCSW yesterday and passed on my 1st try! I would highly recommend the TDC study program for a few reasons: 1) It's concise and organized, which when studying for something this lengthy I would have had a harder time on my own. 2) It's not an overabundance of information which I feel can cause more stress trying to cram everything out there into your brain. Some things on the test were not covered in detail by TDC and some things in the study materials were not on my particular exam, but that's to be expected. You can't plan for everything, but this program covered the most important areas and gave me a good ability to rule out terms I didn't know with the ones I did. 3) The quick tests, mock, and final exams were probably the biggest plus because they helped me get over test anxiety and I knew what it would be like to sit for the actual exam and know I would be fine on time (I finished an hour early on test day). The rationales were also helpful because a bigger portion of the exam is really about knowing order: first, next, best, type scenarios. Thank you TDC for also allowing candidates to extend use of your material which I didn't see with any other study programs. I didn't take my exam when originally anticipated so it was nice to have a little more time to have access to the materials right before I actually was scheduled to take the test. Hope that info helps future LCSW candidates...Best of luck to you all!
