Social Work Exam Prep Reviews

Lynnette M. Arriola, LCSW
I purchased a study guide book from Amazon that was written by a social worker. I tried to study here and there for about a month, but for some reason would become extremely overwhelmed reading through the material. I've heard that the LCSW exam was pretty difficult and one of my mentors, who I consider highly intelligent, took several times to pass it. I thought, 'oh no. If she had trouble, I'm in trouble!' After psyching myself out, I happened to come upon a forum about the LCSW in which a few people recommended TDC. I read the testimonials as you are reading mine now and watched the YouTube video which provided a lot of reassurance and hope. I've always thought  that I do not learn that well from lectures, however, I found  myself benefiting most from the audio lectures. Amanda and Bethany explained things in the most practical way. The DSM-5 lecture was especially helpful as it highlighted the basics of each diagnosis while making it easy to differentiate between them. I dreaded the quizzes and mock exams but they helped me highlight the areas I needed to go back and review. I would say that if you are unsure of what to study, how much to study, and need help organizing, you might want to check out TDC! Good luck to you all!

Thank so much for your support. The program was very well organized and was not overwhelming compared to other programs that I looked into. It went straight to the point. I am very appreciative of TDC and will definitely recommend it to my friends. Thank you for being flexible and extending my program when I came across a family crisis.

I was very stressed about the exam. The first time I was not prepared enough and the second time I lost by 3 points. That screen saying 'Exam Result: Fail' was stuck to my mind! A friend suggested TDC and I enrolled. That was one of the best decisions I had taken. You guys are awesome. I took the exam today, January 18th 2017 and needed 95 points to pass. I got 107 points. The way you put the information forth, the practice material and the strategic planning is excellent. A big chunk of this success goes to you and I will always recommend TDC to my colleagues, friends and students. Thank you for taking my mind out of the fear factor!
Helene Sullivan,
TDC lectures and practice exams really helped me prepare for the real exam. The program  reduced my anxiety and increased my confidence level in a way that helped me think more like a private practice clinician. The exam is not easy, but the program helped me trust my knowledge. Thank you TDC team for your great effort!
Rolan Dillard,
Thank you for offering such a simple, straightforward and RELEVANT study guide. I was unsuccessful on my first attempt for the Law and Ethics Exam, for which I did not use TDC, and actually ran out of time before completing the test. I successfully finished this attempt with 25 minutes to spare. Now it is on to the the Clinical Exam prep with the assistance of the Therapist Development Center! Thanks y'all.
