Social Work Exam Prep Reviews

Aliza S. Patton, LCSW
Great program! I took the exam prior using a program where they taught all sorts of acronyms and during the test I was so focused on them that it took up way too much time, plus I failed. It took me a month and a half to go through this program twice and it gave me the knowledge and confidence to pass!

I had put in hundreds of dollars into other programs and has previously taken the LCSW exam 3 times and failed! I was so scared to take it again! Then a good friend and I met up for dinner and she introduced this program to me, took her test and passed! I was convinced to give the Therapist Development Center a try! Amanda and Bethany are amazing! Even when I was discouraged and didn't feel like I was getting the information, Bethany was right there encouraging me along! Amanda's audios, the practice tests, and quizzes, made me feel like I knew the information! I was finally getting it! I had been trying to get my LCSW for the last 10 years! All the way to the testing center, Bethany was helping me finalize things I didn't understand and I listened to Amanda's pep talk, and followed all the directions Amanda and Bethany gave me! And I passed!!!!! The questions were very similar to the test! I felt confident during the test, I was calm and I had peace! And I passed! It was truly one of the best days of my life! If I had to do it all again, this program is the #1 program I would recommend to anyone! And I've already told a few people who are ready to pursue their exam! Thank you ladies! You  made my dream come true! I cannot thank you enough!

I couldn't be more thankful for the Therapist Development Center! After taking the exam once and missing it by 5 questions I knew I had to try something different. I heard about this program through a friend and signed right up! I'm a normally anxious person, but the schedule provided made me feel like I was getting everything I needed and put me at ease. I felt confident yesterday during the exam and followed the recommendations provided in the program. Needless to say I answered well over the amount of questions needed to pass! :) I have already recommended it to several colleagues. Thank you so much!

I passed on the first go round. This program is amazing. It truly helped me narrow down my studying. Just thinking of the tons of potentially tested material was overwhelming however, the program organized it for me. My only responsibility was to make sure I studied on the days I set for myself. After completing this program I was well prepared to tackle the test.

I took the LCSW Clinical Exam earlier today, and I am speechless! Passing this exam on the first try meant so much to me, as I'm sure it would mean just as much to others. As clinicians, we put in so much effort with grad school, and post-grad accumulation of clinical hours through the countless services that we provide to our clients and their families, etc., that seeing all of it lead to this last exam, puts a lot pressure on us. Thankfully, I had thorough preparation through the TDC materials. The problem solving skills kicked in automatically, and throughout the exam I had Amanda's Final Pep-talk in my head (even when I heard the reaction of someone sitting near me that did not have a favorable outcome with their results). I kept encouraging myself along, and the questions seemed manageable the more I zoned in. I would only reiterate being mindful of time, accept that some questions will be unknowable (and that's okay, but give it your best try and move on), take at least two breaks (post 85 questions, and prior to reviewing marked questions), really read the questions word for word, use the marked options as necessary, but not excessively, and take some time to exercise when prepping for your exam (it helps your mind, your body, and it helps build stamina). You can do this! P.S. While prepping for the exam, it might be tempting to question whether or not the TDC materials alone are enough, or if you should consider using other materials. Trust me, TDC is enough...I'm really glad, I didn't fall into dabbling between study materials, because it could have likely caused my problem solving skills to shift. However, only you will truly know what you need, and hopefully, after putting in consistent time and effort, you'll receive favorable results! Good luck, all! And thank you TDC for first getting me through the LCSW Law and Ethics Exam, and now the Clinical Exam. I can officially say that I am an LCSW! *Sigh of relief*.
