The broken down steps really eased my anxiety starting out, I just focused on one thing at a time. The frames, strategies, and rules were clear to grasp and I felt they were really engrained in my process by the end of the program. I felt that Amanda kept it real with her explanations and I loved that. I felt very prepared with TDC, highly recommend!
I don't know how anyone could pass the test without this program. I found the test to be confusing, poorly written, and disorganized. However, I stuck to what I learned, used my x's and was able to pare the answers down to the best of the worst. Amanda, I kept you next to me and trusted you! Even though I have nothing good to say about the exam, I only have great things to say about your program. Thank you for making the process tolerable. And I learned a lot from the studies. So thank you, thank you and I'm so glad it's over!!!
I completed my hours years ago and purchased this program over a year ago but have been avoiding this exam. Since purchasing this program I had listened to a portion of the Top 50 but that is it. I work full time and have 4 active kids and I am involved with their school and sports. Two weeks ago I decided that I needed to take the exam by the end of the year. When I called PSI they said there was one date open and it was 2 hours away. That date was today; exactly 2 weeks from the day I called. I went through the program while working and attending my kids events. I passed the exam today, the first time taking it. Thank you so much for everything. I had everything I needed and didn't use any other study materials or test banks.
This program makes study manageable because the content is very organized and divided in manageable sections. In addition, this program motivates you to study. From the beginning you feel that it is manageable and that you will be able to pass the exam if you follow the program.
When Amanda comments about the exam as an opportunity to consolidate your knowledge, it changed my perspective on the exam to a more positive oneThe strategies that she gives during the program were absolutely helpful. It was helpful to move through the exam, to read every single word and to imagine that the scenarios were real. Literally, I imagined myself in the therapy room and imagined how the client would react.
Amanda's suggestions regarding self care while studying helped me to arrive rested and ready for the test. Her suggestion to take a break was also very helpful. I noticed I moved quicker from question 105 to 200 after drinking juice and a banana.
In addition, the coach was prompt and helpful in her emails. The coach gave me specific suggestions that helped me regarding how to increase my reading speed as English is my second language.
The mock exams were very similar to the style of questions on the real exam! It was a relief to be familiar with the format. As Amanda shared in her lecture, the exam is not about recall but instead about real life case scenarios.
