I just passed the Clinical Vignette Exam, and I don't know how to thank the TDC team. I passed both exams the first time using this program, and although they were tough exams, the skills I learned gave me the confidence I needed to get through them. I clung to the strategies like a life boat in a storm. Without them, I truly would have been sunk. The entire experience with TDC has been excellent. The lessons were structured in a way that made studying painless and organized. All the information was presented in a way that made sense. And, as I said earlier, the strategies were the glue that put it all together. Thank you, from the bottom of my LMFT heart!
I owe a debt of gratitude to Amanda Rowen and Therapist Development Center for helping me pass both my MFT exams the FIRST time! I cannot tell you how confident I felt going into my vignette exam with a specific strategy which works. The most helpful tools were using "frames" to set up each question and to "X" out incorrect answers which saved considerable time and confusion. By failing your vignette exam Amanda, you have ensured that others will not. Bless you!
TDC's program seems to teach the essentials. And, in so doing, she evokes a calming influence. The test, in my mind, is poorly written and executed and TDC prepares the MFTIs for this inevitability. The beauty of the process is that the material is important for all of us to know and Amanda makes the process meaningful. I look forward to the day for Amanda where she won't even need to compare herself to the "other test companies", where she will be able to be THE test company. It's only a matter of time. I paid for AATBS before I found TDC. I barely made it through a quarter of AATBS before realizing their test prep method didn't make much sense, and was not worth my time. TDC easily explained the exam as a puzzle; once you learned the rules, it was simple to get right. TDC taught me the rules in simple and logical steps. I passed on my first try.
English is my third language and I always felt inferior when taking time restricted exam. TDC makes it very easy to understand the concept and her methods are simple to comprehend. Thank you TDC and the fabulous team!
