MFT Exam Prep Reviews

Tivoli Cousineau, MFT

I passed!!!  This program is clear and easy to follow.  I went through once doing the minimum amount of work and then a second time following all of TDC's directions.  It worked for passing the test and I feel much better prepared as a therapist.

I PASSED my MFT CVE this morning, on the first try, just like I did with the first exam! What a relief, life can go on without this stress hovering over my head!!! I only used TDC's material and felt very prepared for both exams. The frames and being confident on my " X's" really helped me pass the CVE exam!!! On the super answers I would hear Amanda's voice saying: "Absolutely! Super Answer!". I can't recommend this program enough! Easy to understand strategies and amazing audio rationales. I felt ready to take the exam in 3 weeks but I used 5 so I could review a second time. It is simply magical!!! TDC, thanks again for creating such an amazing study system, I feel I grew as a therapist because of what I learned from your program, I looked forward to every audio session as if I were taking a fun class!

I just passed the MFT SWE on the first attempt!  Everything TDC says is true.  It is tough, and you won't feel like you're passing, but the strategies really helped. :)

Excellent study materials. At first I was skeptical, since the material was way too easy to digest in such a short period of time. But that's how the test is designed. I would definitely recommend to those who don't have the time nor patience for massive study guides.

By and far, I believe the Therapist Development Center (TDC) has an edge on the critical tools needed to pass this exam. I tried AATBS (testbank) and Gerry Grossman (study materials and testbank) and, in retrospect, can say they were fundamentally lacking. AATBS' clinical vignette exams are simply not representative of the actual test, and their rationales will only lead you into a place of frustration and confusion. With respect to Grossman, while his tests were more palatable, he was too focused on memorization and paid short shrift to developing the actual skills needed to get through the test. I believe using my TDC skills and strategies was the fundamental thing that got me through the Vignette Exam with a greater sense of ease and with confidence that I was passing when I arrived at the end. I recommend TDC highly.
