TDC truly helped me throughout the stressful process of passing this exam. The lectures were interesting and made studying easier for me, the quick studies helped summarize the topics, and the practice tests/mock exams mirrored the actual exam which was a huge help. Overall, I’m satisfied with TDC and the content provided, I passed the test on the first try and I’m officially an LMSW! I ran through the entire program about 3-4 times in the span of a month and a half. I will definitely be buying the course again when preparing for my LCSW. Thank you TDC!
I have ADHD and because of that when a task seems large it can be extremely challenging to even start since even the idea of it can overwhelm me to the point where I can anxiously avoid the task for months. I really didn't have too much of that issue with this program because it is broken down into manageable sections. Even the first section eases you into it by going over how to approach studying. Lectures were short and because of that they were able to hold my attention pretty well. I love that this course sought out to really teach me these specific areas. With other resources they utilize individual questions that later gave rationales that were in my opinion too technical and didn't clearly state why it was a better choice over the other options. It felt like reading a textbook where I really couldn't follow what was happening. Also that type of format is good for reasoning questions, but on recall questions it only helps if you have that specific type of question again. I felt like I had too many holes in my knowledge with other programs. I was much more comfortable and confident using the TDC because of their in depth and manageable lesson plans. And of course I did end up asking myself in the exam WWARD (What Would Amanda Rowan Do) which actually helped a lot. I passed on my first try with a score of 127 with 99 needed to pass with this program being a solid 90% of my study materials. Trust me, its worth the investment and I will be using this program again in a few years when I take my LCSW exam.
This is the best course for studying for your licensing. I graduated in 2020 and failed in 2021. I passed after studying using TDC for about 2-3 months. I didn’t even get through all of the practice exams but still passed.
I felt so nervous that I wouldn't be able to pass the exam on my first try, but I had seen so many success stories about those who passed the LMSW exam on their first try with TDC so I decided to believe in myself and purchase the course. I really loved the flow and structure of the program. The audio lectures were wonderful in helping me to retain needed information. I initially purchased the Dawn Apgar study guide, but after reading through it, I knew that it would not benefit my learning style. So I was really happy to have TDC as a study resource. I went through the program twice as suggested, and I felt very prepared to know how to answer different questions. I also LOVED the amount of practice questions you get in the course. I scored a 70 on the pretest, a 76 on both of the 85-question mock exams, and then an 84 on the final exam, so I felt prepared to take the real exam soon after. While taking the real exam, I felt nervous throughout, but I kept telling myself that I was going to pass. I took a break at the 85-question mark, as the course suggests, and had a protein bar with apple juice. I submitted my exam and was so happy to see that I had passed. The passing score was 98, and I got 126 answers correct. I was stunned. TDC is absolutely the way to go and I'm so grateful that this course exists.
I passed my exam on my first try!! I used this plan as my only study material for about 2.5 months. I am so impressed with the amount of topics covered, handy print outs, descriptive quizzes and overall convenience of this plan. I was able to take my quick studies to work and convert medicine terms to handy flash cards for review. I also converted some quick studies into quizlets to help me retain information with terms/definitions like the psychological tests for example. I was nervous ab the amount of info provided but after breaking it up in a plan that worked for me the information began to stick with me. My initial practice exam scores were 68%, 67%, 75%, and 68%. After about a month and half of repeated studying my scores jumped to 85%, 92%, 94%, and 95% on practice exams. The quizzes were my fav part bc I was able to identify terms with ease through matching. The DSM 5 audio was super detailed and helped me remember specific symptoms and criteria for multiple diagnoses. Take this plan at your own pace and you will not regret getting it!
This program helped me prepare for my LMSW exam. Right after finishing my MSW I had a lot of self doubt in my ability to pass the licensure exam, I will admit, I even had doubt the day of the exam. However, I passed with more than enough answers to secure a passing grade! The lectures really helped me as I retain information better this way rather than reading study guides. I also found the quick study sheets and quizzes extremely helpful. I am thankful to this program for helping me pass my exam on my first try.
This course provided a strong foundation for anything that could pop up on the exam. The format of the course was great and easy to follow, and I owe a huge chunk of my success on the LMSW exam to this course!
I do appreciate TDC with staying with me as a study to get my license, sir. There has been a lot of circumstances regarding family needs and the understanding and appreciation goes deep in my heart with the extension of me being able to access this program and study to be a licensed master social worker. Thank you all so much and I do appreciate everything that you guys are doing with this program and accommodating to my needs to support me through this journey.
I felt the course was easy and clearly formatted to follow. I also appreciated that the course focused on test taking strategies and emotional preparedness. I feel that was a most important tool that was needed when facing the exam since it was quite challenging and I was able to stay calm and focused by utilizing Amanda's tips. Thank you!
I took the licensure exam one time before finding your program. I was so nervous to take it again. Your program really taught me how to understand the questions being asked and how the exam wants you to answer. I am so happy with the outcome. I passed this time around :)
