I am so happy to announce that I finally passed my LMSW exam after two prior attempts. It looks like the third time was the charm, but not without TDC's help! I am still super ecstatic and still in a state of shock. I took my University's two day program, which wasn't that helpful. There was just too much information jam packed into a two day review. With TDC, I feel that I passed because I was able to pause, rewind, and listen to lectures as much as I wanted to, on my own time! If I forgot information on a certain topic, I could easily pull up a quick study to help me relearn the material. You can't rewind a lecture if you do an LMSW exam review live in person, so these recordings worked best for me. I work an hour away from home, so it was nice to listen to the lectures while I drove. I also love how organized the 50 Topics were! I am a person who struggles with organization and I do admit that I can be very scatter brained. Especially since it is hard to study for this big exam while working fulltime with patients that have real life problems. It's hard to turn my brain off! So, it was amazing the way TDC structured the material. It was simple, easy to learn, and straight to the point. I have to say that my favorite part of this program was learning how to differentiate disorders (What's The Difference)!!! The “What's The Difference” worksheets helped me tremendously because it forced me to really learn about several disorders that are similar to others and commonly mixed up. I found it helpful to learn the differences of most disorders in the DSM instead of trying to memorize EVERY disorder in the DSM.

I passed my exam by 7 points, getting 105 out of 98 correct. The first two times I took the exam, I ran out of time because I kept doubting myself. This third time I took the exam (along with the TDC Mock exam), I had an entire hour to spare. This meant a lot because it showed me that I answered questions SO confidently, that I finished the exam early! I didn't waste time stuck on questions or doubting myself. I just did what Amanda taught me to do :) I could not have done this without Amanda and the TDC crew. I can go on and on and on....... so I will end this testimonial with saying THANK YOU TDC and PLEASE BUY THIS PROGRAM IF YOU NEED HELP PASSING YOUR EXAM. Also, NEVER GIVE UP if you fail! Please don't, because this victory feels sweeter than I think it would feel if I passed the first time. I did not let that exam scare or defeat me. I just kept trying and eventually got that "L". That's all that matters!

Prior to purchasing TDC, I had purchased other study materials and felt extremely overwhelmed by the format. Although I wasn't exactly thrilled to spend more money on another study program, I felt it was necessary. Being able to listen to the lectures and take notes as I was listening was super helpful - it definitely confirmed that I'm more of an auditory learner. I felt confident going into the exam and passed by 17 points. Super glad that I downloaded TDC not only for the exam, but also as a refresher for the material in general.

I definitely brought Amanda to my exam. I enjoyed listening to the audios and learning how to think about the exam. I was recommended by a peer who used TDC to ONLY focus on TDC because I will get confused if I use other programs along with TDC and it’s true. I definitely wouldn’t have been prepared on how to think about the question if it wasn’t for TDC.

I studied for 2 weeks using TDC program and passed on my first try. Although I only passed by 1 point, I am extremely proud of myself because I wanted a long time to take the test due to being nervous.

I have to admit that this program is very organized and focuses on the ASWB exam style, its questions and the approach you should have to the test in general. Unfortunately, many available study guides simply can not provide you with so valuable knowledge and rational to the questions asked in the exam. After failing my first test I was feeling discouraged and maybe that I chose the wrong profession. I signed up for my next test as soon as possible and was determined. I bought this study system because if offered structured studying which I could have never done on my own. This program taught me how to think about the exam and process what I already knew to the standards of proficient social worker.
