I did my MSW 20 years back in India. I moved to America a few years back. I wanted to get my license but had no idea where to begin. It was like pieces of different puzzles put together. I heard about TDC from a FB group preparing for LCSW. I finally joined TDC. I found the program very structured. Comparing it with various videos and coaching available online, I would say I felt like wasting so much time on one concept. I stuck to TDC only and started following the audio, Quick topics, and quizzes. It gave me confidence as I started passing all mock exams everywhere. I passed my LMSW exam today scoring 70% correct answers. I owe my success to hard work, my supportive family, and TDC.

I used your curriculum to pass both my LCSW and LMSW and I passed both tests in one shot. I was incredibly grateful for what you put together in the Therapist Development Center curriculum....it was so helpful and gave me the confidence to take both exams. The mock exams the audio teachings that you provided...plus the quick studies were all informative and very helpful. I took the exam in October. I missed it by 2 without TDC. I passed this time with TDC. Other than using this program, I did a few other things. I watched Michael Britt's Eriksons and Piagets ages and stages mnemonics videos. I also watched Dr. Ben Michaels "Disorders in a minute" series. For the meds, I made up silly sentences for each category to include category and med name ie; depressed (pro) zak flu celexa to sleep in a loft on a serta. .. I aced the med questions. Other than those 3 things, I exclusively used TDC. I read the quick studies and then took the correlating quizzes twice. I recommend hand writing your answers for the quizzes, as they seemed to stick better. After doing this I studied the missed answers. I took the practice tests and would have taken both of the shorter mock tests twice, but I ran out of time. I got 76 om the final mock.
About the exam. I learned from the last exam to use the strikethrough button to eliminate answers. Most of the time I was struggling between 2 answers. In this case, pick the answer you feel is best and flag it That way in case you run out of time, at least you answered and it helps save time when you get stuck, because you can come back to it. I finished in 3 1/2 hours with one break. I flagged 20 answers and was able to go back through them all. For the most part, I kept my original choice, but the ones I corrected made a difference between passing or failing, Amanda advised to bring snacks, I had cranberry mango juice in my locker. I used the restroom at 90 questions and drank my juice and had a few pistachios and blueberry's. You aren't supposed to eat, but I had then near the front of the locker and just did it real quick. This was such great advice from Amanda. I didn't take a break last time, and by the end I was just randomly picking answers because my brain was so depleted. II believe that if I l would have flagged answers, I might have passed. My biggest complaint with my previous study program and even the ASWB mock test I paid 70$ for, was that they did not cover recent changes to the code of ethics and other changes relating to legal and current social issues, but the exam did. The updates TDC provides are so crucial because there are many questions relating to these things,. The topics I studied first were those I actually learned to retain and I studied these at a slower pace. I never mastered the research or Macro areas, so I spent time studying these in the 2 days before the exam. I still feel like I missed most of those. If you fail, your printout tells you categories and numbers missed. If you pass, you don't get this. In summary, if you listen to the advice given in this program and follow the directions and strategies, you can pass. This program made me wonder what I actually studied in the other program I used last time. With TDC I not only passed, I feel like I strengthened my knowledge in my field. This program gave me more confidence professionally. I do not advise waiting until the night before to take the mock exam, because I started at 8 pm and after going over the missed ones, I was up to 130 AM and had to be at my test site by 730 am. I did take Armanda's advice to eat a good breakfast, but I did not get a good night sleep and this made it difficult. Any way I want to give a shout out and big THANK YOU to TDC. ! I am so happy to be in the 95% of those who have passed..

This program was a LIFE SAVER! It simplified the topics and gave clear explanations. I especially liked the audio features that allowed me to listen and re-listen to the different topics. Amanda's clear and easy to follow coaching made it easy to stay connected and follow.

TDC is a great resource for the LMSW exam. It is organized, covers many different topics and really prepares you for the exam! I appreciate TDC for sticking with me as I needed more than one extension. I was so afraid to fail, I kept pushing my test date back. The material was explained in a way that was very easy to understand! They mean it when they say they are with you until you pass. Thank you so much TDC!

I passed my exam (98 questions to pass, I scored 134) with more than enough to spare and definitely credit TDC with my success. I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone, particularly those who do well with auditory learning. TDC is a comprehensive program and worth every single cent. Most importantly, TDC taught me how to think about the questions on the exam and that made all the difference. I also really appreciated my extremely thoughtful and responsive exam "coach". Absolutely loved the format of this program and believe it is the reason I passed my LMSW test on the first try! I felt this program covered all the topics that were on the exam and helped me to think through any questions I was unsure about in a clear concise way. Well worth the price - an extremely informative, clear, & easy program to follow! I will be using this program again when it is time to take my LCSW exam!

I really loved how interactive this platform was. I especially appreciated having worksheets to do along with the lectures. I was able to print out all of the packets of information on the site and make notes on them while listening to the lectures provided. REALLY enjoyed this program and all it had to offer. Everyone was so responsive when I needed help which is another added bonus.
