This course was very well organized. The content was very clear and informative. The quizzes and mock exams really helped me to study. The rationales for the mock exams were also very helpful.

Thank you TDC for helping me PASS the LMSW exam! I really appreciated how your system broke down the information for each section tested into just what is needed and not give an overwhelming amount of info that is unnecessary. I loved the audios the most because I was able to listen to them on-the-go, and I found listening to them over and over really help sink in the info. My favorite audios were "Let's talk Ethics" and "How change happens". I remember picking up a copy of the COE I previously found on the internet and reading it and said to myself "I'm never going to get this stuff", but listening to the "let's talk ethics" audio on TDC and hearing the commentary was a life saver for me. Understanding the COE was very important in passing the exam. I appreciated all the tips - how to study, what to eat/drink, self-care, etc. they were all very helpful. Also, being able to communicate with Emily P. via email for clarification and inquiries was awesome! Thank you, Emily! In addition, I love being in the study group on Facebook. I posted/commented several times when I was struggling and my anxiety was getting the best of me and I have to say, the support that I got from my fellow study partners was AWESOME! I love how everyone was supportive of each other, empowering each other - what a great motivation! With all great things said, I must say I wished TDC had an audio explaining the "macro" piece needed for the exam, I found the quick study alone wasn't enough on this section. In closing, thank you again, TDC! I have already recommended your study system to my fellow colleagues who are planning on taking their LMSW/LCSW exams. I will definitely use TDC when studying for my LCSW exam.

I have been out of grad school for 6 years and was extremely nervous about preparing for this exam. I am a mom of a toddler and work full time so I was also worried about having enough time to prepare. The study material provided by TDC was exactly what I needed. it helped me stay organized and stay on track. I would recommend it to anyone. I passed on Saturday!

I was very satisfied with the entire test prep. The combination of audio, quick studies, and quizzes were very helpful! I initially planned to spend a longer time period studying, which I recommend. I felt very rushed and was left with insecurities on test day because of the short time span I had devoted to studying. However, I did pass the exam on the first try thanks to this test prep! I have already recommended it to a couple coworkers, who plan to take the LMSW exam this year. :)

Before I purchased Therapist Development Center's (TDC) materials I was overwhelmed with what to study because there was so much material to cover. TDC helped me with how to study & what to study. The materials were portable, so I always had some quick study materials with me at all times. Plus the audio materials were a tremendous help for me allowing me to replay the materials on my 45 minute commute to/from work. The quizzes & mock test all helped me with learning the materials and with preparing myself physically to take the exam. Historically I've not done well on national exams. However, the tips, strategies & pep talk from start to finish, all helped me to be confident, prepared & calm during the exam and ultimately successful. Thank you! TDC is super knowledgable about social work and the LMSW exam. But what stood out is that they really seemed to understand me as a learner; I'm not the kind of person who can just sit down with a book. I needed the lectures and study guides because that's how I learn and TDC "met" me there. I really DID have Amanda's voice in my head during some of the questions!

Im a horrible test taker. I kept putting the test off over and over due to not feeling ready enough to take the exam and life situations. However, I finally decided to take whether I pass or fail. This exam LMSW was the hardest test I have ever taken. I wanted to second guess myself on every questioned I answered. However, I never got the ah ha notion, therefore I only changed three questions, maybe I shouldn't have but after reviewing I thought I should. I did not pass by much, but I passed and I am most grateful!

I am extremely pleased with the TDC study program! I was willing to invest in this program because I would rather invest upfront to increase my chances of only taking the exam once. It worked! I loved the organized structure of the program and the thoroughness of the content. In the long run, I saved time, money (on taking the exam multiple times), and stress. I felt prepared for the LMSW exam and believe that I learned many things that will help me to be a better social worker. I fully intend to use this program when I prepare to study for the LCSW!
