The first time I took the exam, I did not pass by 3 questions. After completing the study prep program I was able to go into the test more confidently. My anxiety was much lower and I believe this allowed me to stay focused. Thank you to the whole therapist development center for the support!

TDC You ARE THE BEST!! I could have screamed in testing center when I saw PASS but I didn't want them not to validate my scores. I am so happy because having my license opens up so many opportunities for me. I graduated with my masters almost 15 years ago and never so the need to take the exam until recently. Studying day and night paid off and I can finally sleep tonight. Now to job search in a big way. Once I find out SC state requirements for LISW, I'll be back. I wish you all could market your study system to college campuses, it changes the way you think, process and study in a big way. Very appreciative to TDC because you all helped my life to change in a BIG WAY!!

I took so many mock exams which I would pass - barely. The night before the exam I had the idea to see if there was a pattern to the questions I missed and there was! I noticed that I was not using any common sense, I was trying too many strategies and not just thinking about what I would really do in the scenario. I took a different approach on the exam and passed with 114 points - I needed 99. Knowing all of the background information that TDC offers was invaluable. I will use again for the LCSW exam in a few years! :)

The study system was well planned out and the study tips that were given made me feel calm and prepared for the test. I only missed a few questions during the exam and that is because I felt prepared walking through questions word by word and thinking about putting things in order. Thank you!

I passed the LMSW exam on my first attempt by utilizing TDC’s LMSW Exam Prep. I received a score of 121, but needed only 99. I did not use anything else to help me study, as I found it difficult to determine what would be beneficial and what was not. I did not use acronyms and did not order any practice materials from the ASWB or elsewhere. I strictly used TDC’s study materials. The audio was crucial to my study style (thank you Amanda!). I printed off the quick studies, reviewed them fairly regularly, listened to the audio often and made good use of the tests that were offered in print as well as online. The program proved to be a stand alone comprehensive prep course that was easy to use.

My score on the TDC LMSW pre-test was a 58 (failing). After studying the TDC materials, I scored 77 on the final mock exam (passing). Then, I passed the real exam on my first attempt! The scores speak for themselves. Thank you TDC! - Dawn B.

I embarked on my journey to become a social worker as a second career. I'm a wife, mother and grandmother, so as expected my life is very full. I was anxious as to how I was going to pass the test as I'm a little rusty with test taking. Using TDC was phenomenal, you categorized all the information very succinctly and in easy to understand modules. I just kept reviewing and doing the tests over and over again. I would recommend your course to others and I hope to use it again when I'm ready to take the certification test.

I utilized TDC to prepare for my first LMSW exam. I studied over a 4 week period and passed the exam the first attempt.

After the first exam I remained disappointed with the results for quite awhile. The exam didn't seem to reflect the topics and lessons I studied in my Masters program. I was pleased to find the TDC program more closely reflected the topics I was familiar with and presented them as information that may be tested on the exam. During my second attempt with the exam I felt more confident and had a better experience, however, I did find that the study materials of TDC did lack some very important information which was included on the exam. Many definitions and specific vignettes within the exam portrayed language not represented in the study materials. Overall I felt the TDC study guide made a huge difference in my ability to understand the exam questions, but was not the only material I needed to study for complete confidence in testing.

This program was just what I needed. Right after graduation, I was overwhelmed by a prep course offered by my university that piled information and materials for us to take home, with no further guidance. TDC offered materials with structure, along with audio and materials for me to read at my own time. I reviewed the entire program twice and passed my test on the first attempt. Thank you, TDC!
