I can honestly say that the Therapy Development Center (TDC) played a huge role in helping me finally pass the LMSW exam. After failing multiple times, I needed something that not only gave me content—but taught me how to think like the exam. That’s exactly what TDC does.

The audio lectures were incredibly helpful, especially when I needed to study on the go. The way they broke down reasoning and trained me to think clinically, ethically, and through the lens of the test changed everything for me. The structure of their program kept me on track without feeling overwhelmed, and the rationales behind each question taught me why the answers were right—not just what the answers were.

I fully accredit TDC to being the reason I passed my exam on the first try! “Ask a Coach” feature = gold! Got personalized help when I needed clarification. I focused on TDC’s “Top 50” topics and saw almost ALL of them on my exam! This program me be familiar with the things I needed to and prevented information overload. I used the quick studies for areas I needed more help understanding and quizzes to reinforce the information. The ASWB exam is not a memorization exam, and TDC prepared me to adjust my thinking pattern and reason through questions. Not only did I pass my exam, but I feel more confident in my social work abilities as I enter the field. Thank you, TDC!!!

This was the first program that actually helped me with learning the structure of the test! I have studied other materials in the past and the test was nothing like anything I studied. TDC has been a blessing to me this go around and I love the way everything was broken down to make everything easy to understand.

TDC did a wonderful job of preparing me (a highly anxious test taker and chronic overthinker) for the masters level exam. After taking a month to work my way through the study program I managed to pass my test on the first attempt with 140 correct answers! TDC's thinking strategies for detangling the reasoning questions and guidelines for taking on test day with a strong mentality made all the difference for me. I would definitely recommend this program.

TDC is the only reason why I passed the exam. In the last 7 years, I’ve taken the exam three times. I was extremely nervous because I needed the licensure to keep my job. I am so grateful for TDC in my journey in passing the LSW. I was feeling very discouraged in the process because I graduated with my Masters in Social Work in 2020 and most of my classmates passed very quickly after graduation and I did not. I failed the test twice due to not knowing how to take it, not from not knowing the content. If I didn’t pass it the third time I was going to loose my job, so I invested in the program. Taking the test felt easy compared to the first 2 times. I highly recommend this program.

I really enjoyed using Therapist Development Center to prepare for my exam. I had purchased other programs in the past but never felt confident enough to test.
