I passed on the first time taking the exam. I highly recommend this studying course. From beginning to end I felt it was easy to follow and realistic. I believe the only thing that was hard for me was me actually committing and getting back to the study rhythm (we tend to loose it after our graduate program). However, once I began little by little to study I felt it was good. One tip I do recommend is to take Amanda (in your head) the day of the exam. I had some questions about some of the exam questions/answers and I kept telling my self in my own head “WWAD? = What Would Amanda Do?” Sounds funny but it really helped (specially because I tend to freak out in test taking mode). Overall, I am happy with the results and the course material really prepared me well for this exam.

I took the test back in Oct 2018 with no experience in the clinical field and without completing the program fully and did not pass. I committed to completing the program the second go round and passed my exam. I appreciate Heidi for being so available to answer my questions and encouraging when I may have doubted myself. I am still in shock but I will say without the program I would not have been as prepared to answer the questions.

My name is Addison Jackson Jr. and I passed my LCSW because of the awesome exam prep program from Therapist Development Center. When I began my study regimen, I started with an app that simply asked questions and gave rationale for the answers. From the moment I started with TDC I knew that I was on my way to success. The first test I did not do as well as I thought I should. From there on, I gained knowledge and confidence!! Not only are you given explanations for answers, you are taught HOW TO TEST!! The best part about taking the test and passing is because I felt confident in my answers. Even though I was nervous at the start of the exam, I quickly got into my zone and knocked the test out!! Thank you so much TDC for offering this to veterans for free! I want to give veterans and those who would have to pay the confidence that this system WORKS!! All you have to do is the program in its entirety.

The first time I used the program I did not fully complete it. At that time I was preparing to take the exam for the 4th time. I failed by 6 questions. On the 5th attempt I completed the program and stuck to my study schedule and I passed!! Upon taking the exam I felt adequately prepared and during the first half of the exam I just knew that I passed. However, I did not have adequate time to review all of my marked questions. I had answered most of them so I went back and reviewed the ones I did not. I stuck to “aha” recommendation and it worked in my favor. Thanks for developing this program it was really helpful!!

This program was excellent in its scope and organization. Not only did it help me to pass the exam on my first attempt (3/8/19), but it was an exceptional education overall. Because I finished my graduate program a while ago (2007), I actually enjoyed reviewing TDC's content in its entirety because it represents foundational knowledge I feel is important as a practitioner. Thank you, TDC!!

I passed my LCSW this morning and can definitely say that TDC helped me through and through. I followed the program as recommended and it helped me feel prepared and not overwhelmed by the process. While taking the test I kept Amanda in my head guiding me through. Thank you for making a seemingly daunting task easier to swallow.

TDC really helped me to understand the terms, concepts, theories, etc. in a way needed to process any scenario on the exam. I plan to continuously use my study materials as I advance in my career. My binder stays in my trunk! As with the masters exam prep, I especially appreciated the study plan as the format helped me be realistic with my studies and stay on track. I needed 103 correct answers, and I answered 115 questions correctly. TDC was a great investment!
