I have MAJOR test anxiety so anticipating this exam was one of the most stressful times of my life. However these lectures, and the pep-talk made the exam seem so easy! I especially liked the pre-made schedule, which is good for those like me who both procrastinate and over-study at times. All throughout the exam, the most important phrases to remember were "Start where the client is at" & "Validate their emotions"....I honestly believe these kept me on track. Also, the tips for how to answer "first" and "most" questions was detrimental as well (like, "what would you do if they were in your office, play it out"). I feel like my exam was mostly "first" questions so this helped A LOT. I wish I had known about TDC for my LSW exam but I have already started telling everyone about TDC! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!

This was my first time taking the exam. I went through the material twice. The first time at my own pace and discretion and the second time I followed TDC plan exactly. I am so relieved to be done!

I really love that TDC encourages critical thinking with the proper application of knowledge, and takes a holistic approach to passing the exam so that it promotes incorporating studying into my life rather than putting my life on hold to study. I rate this course with 5 stars.

I think it's really difficult to integrate all social work information into an exam prep material but TDC did a great job of preparing me for the LCSW exam. TDC offers extra tips that go beyond recall and critical thinking- they offer tips for self-care, scheduling study times, snacking/eating which showed me that they really care about the well-being of their consumers. I integrated the study material and advice and passed on my first attempt. Thank you TDC!

Through out the study process I felt like I wasn't getting enough information, however during the test I felt like the rational and the method used to think through the questions is what really mattered.

Reviewed the TDC materials completely through 2x and felt quite prepared before the exam. Definitely nervous and anxious, but I spent a lot of time studying and tried to have faith in the TDC system to ensure that I was prepared. Sitting with uncertainty during the exam was the hardest part for me. On almost all questions, I was able to narrow down my answer choices confidently to 2 options. That's when it was challenging and where the reasoning came in. I "marked" 70 questions for review. I finished with about 30 mins left to go through the marked questions, started changing a few and then stopped myself cause I wasn't having any 'aha' moments. Submitted and PASSED! So thankful to TDC and so glad my hard work and effort paid off. Thanks to TDC for the wonderful, concise and targeted study program- so appreciative!!!

I would give this course a 4/5 in stars because it is brilliant in how well it prepares you for the exam. The exam covers such a range of questions and nuances that it is hard to know how you are doing while you are taking it. This course also supports you physically and psychologically to take the test. My score was well above cutoff and I still felt the struggles of processing all the information and staying cool.

The reason for not giving 5/5 stars - There are some topics and orders of operation that were tested on the mocks that were not covered in the course material. I actually learn well this way, but felt I needed more of an explanation on some of these questions, especially on Final Mock 2. Also sometimes similar questions seemed to contradict each other, requiring a really strong explanation to make sense of the different answers. I'd recommend being in close touch with coaches every time you have questions on a mock. I'd recommend the course developers put out more information in the Quick Studies that back up the test topics - including more guidelines for DV, School Social Work, Groups, and Hospital Social Work.

Overall I think this course has wonderful content, methods, and support for passing this test!! Well worth it.

I failed by one the first time, passed 26 the second time around using the Therapist Development Program. I really appreciate Heidi being patient with me as I sent her many emails( pretty sure I was experiencing some hysteria over the entire process). It's no doubt, the program is an investment and one that would have helped me pass the first time I took the test had I been aware of the Therapist Development Program. Nevertheless, I passed today and cried grown man tears. Between school and 6 VERY busy years, it all kinda sank in today as I repeatedly stared at the ASWB sheet that Indicated "PASS." I'm officially done. This program really does a great job at teaching you the information that you need to know to pass and think like an ethical practitioner. I had some moments of skepticism and doubt- but just drink the juice and apply yourself as much as you can. Money well spent!
