This program helped me to "turn off" my everyday social work brain that I use in practice and help me to think like the test. I had failed it once before and was reluctant to want to try again. The study materials provided in this program were user-friendly. I found that the tests especially helped to narrow down the topics and focus on the areas I still needed to study. GREAT PROGRAM!! And I passed the second time after using this :)

I took the test and passed on the first attempt with an 84% thanks to the Therapist Development program. I felt very prepared for test with this program. I also bought Dawn Apgar's books and felt very overwhelmed with the material. NONE of those details that Apgar covered were on the test. This program was far superior as it focused on the thinking behind the questions and how to answer them versus trying to just memorize a huge pile of information. I was very surprised to find that 95% of the test was application not memorization. The course is all you need to pass. thank you so much

Thank you TDC. Overall this system is excellent and I think that it is awesome that you stick with people until they pass including the no cost extensions. I also appreciated the prompt responses to questions and the personal attention that was immensely helpful in talking with people to help overcome barriers. I think that this time really listening to the final pep talk and going in and attacking the test aggressively was a big part of passing.

I am so grateful for the TDC Program. It is truly incredible and designed for anyone who takes it seriously and wants to pass their required exams. I know for a fact that I would not have passed mt Clinical exam without TDC. It's not just the materials and facts, but it's also the "how to" pieces. The break down between First/Next vs. Most/Better; making sure our brains recognize when recall is needed versus reasoning. It's truly an AWESOME program and I would recommend this to anyone and already have! Thank you TDC for all your help and coaching.

I’m confident TDC made the difference. I had been studying with different materials, but when I started TDC everything clicked and my confidence soared. The mock exams really helped. I PASSED!!!

I took the LCSW oral exam for the second time June 6, 1987. I did not pass. I have worked as a Social Worker for 36 years. I had given up hope of ever passing this exam. However, about 6 years ago a co-worker encouraged me to attempt again. I was not at all confident that I would be able to achieve this goal. However, with the support of my family, my work family and TDC, I am now a LCSW!! I still can't believe this happened!!

Your program was so well organized, clearly presented, well managed and comfortable. The small steps were easy to manage (mind you, not simple, but easy to study) and worked to build my confidence. The constant reminders re: "how to think" were so helpful. The study guides, tests, and answer explanations were excellent. It was as though you took years of study and put it into a few hours. I am over the moon to have passed my LCSW exam first time, and i don't think I could have done it without TDC. Having an outline of how to study, understanding what the test was testing, having materials in different formats and the excellent support of TDC coach Heidi definitely got me through. Although there were a lot of questions on the test I was unsure about, the course helped me to rely on strategies and have confidence in my judgement. In the past i have struggled with test anxiety, but after completing the course twice, i felt ready and prepared. Thank you TDC :-)

I found the TDC prep course outstanding in particular with getting you in the appropriate mental space for the test along with stages of thinking to help retain information. I was able to get accommodations since the first time I didn't pass the exam so the extra time is ultimately what I needed personally to pass. However, the snacks and utilization of breaks was huge. Thank you!!!

I am so grateful to The Therapist Development Center and you two ladies on the audio training. After attempting to pass 2 other times, this was the best experienced I had studying to pass the LCSW exam. I actually went into the course with such confidence of knowing the material and my practice. The course contributed to my success in passing.

I have used TDC for both my law and ethics exam and for the clinical exam. Passed the first time for both exams. EXCELLENT materials! The best is learning how to reason out the questions. Thank you TDC!!
