I passed today on my first try. I usually don’t test well but thanks to TDC, I was adequately prepared to attack the exam.
This program allows to review clinical information and fact based SW material without having to dig out old books, or buying heavy content to study. The program has a great mix of content and testing prep. I really liked the first "organize" topic to help set the stage, and the last prep audio. I really needed to hear, "tolerate uncertainty". I am very grateful for the course and the coaches. Thank you!
I passed my LCSW exam today with flying colors! It was the first time I took the exam and TDC is the only study system I used. I only studied for 5 days starting on a Monday and took the exam on Friday. I should say, my only focus on those days was studying! TDC was well organized and easy to follow. I printed out all of the quick study guides and took notes through the lectures. I think the number one thing that helped me during the test was remembering "how to" answer the reasoning questions, the second thing that this program helped me with, was to slow down and really break down the question stem, figure out what it was asking, and the logic behind the answers.Thank you TDC for providing me with a program that left me feeling competent and strong during the test!
This program really helped me "think" for the exam. My clinical exam had very few direct recall questions, and I was able to apply TDC and Amanda's way of thinking on a majority of the questions. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is overwhelmed as to where to begin to study. Very straight forward and helpful exam prep!
SO grateful for this resource! Extremely thorough. Praise all things high for Amanda's guided expertise.
I walked into the testing center ready to do work and passed. I scored 123 out of 103 necessary to pass. My anxiety was in check and the Mock exams/rationales fully prepared me to be successful.
I highly recommend spending the money and doing it right the first time. Amazing program!
At the time of my exam, I had been out of graduate school for 11 year. I have only been practicing social work for the last 2 years, and had no idea what or how to study untill someone recommend TDC. I researched the program as well as other similar test prep companies. I ended up purching TDC and passed my first time. I truely believe I could not have passed with out the program.
I am so grateful for this program. I will tell everyone who plans to sit for the exam, that I was not prepared until I studied from this program. I took the test once before and failed-i only studied from a book. But Therapist Development taught me so much AND prepared me for my next journey. Again, I’m grateful. I will be a spokesperson any day!!!!!
Thank you TDC for a streamlined and yet comprehensive study system. I passed the first try! Aside from the study materials, I was very grateful for the “Narrative Therapy” blog posted in your website. It helped me reframed my view and my rewrite my story of how I have always viewed my exam-taking experience. It works!
So I took the exam today for the 2nd time and passed! Needed a 102 to pass and scored 108. The first time I took the exam I missed passing by one point which was extremely disappointing, in which I only used the Dawn Apgar Clinical Exam Guide which I feel did not cover most the material/questions on the exam.
Luckily I came across TDC when looking at other study options online and would not have passed without it. Someone else in the program posted that they printed off all their quizzes and handouts, etc. which is what I did and found helpful because I liked having the material handy when I was on the go. Because of TDC there were some questions on the exam in which I knew the answer before even reviewing my options. The only thing that worried me was how there were a lot of Macro questions on the test (I'd say around 5?) which is why I'm glad TDC added the macro lecture and handout.
My main advice would be to take a few days off prior to the exam so you can review the material at your own pace and focus on the areas that you're worried about. I did this myself this past week and it really helped. Good luck to everyone taking the exam in the future and thanks a lot to TDC!
