I took the LCSW oral exam for the second time June 6, 1987. I did not pass. I have worked as a Social Worker for 36 years. I had given up hope of ever passing this exam. However, about 6 years ago a co-worker encouraged me to attempt again. I was not at all confident that I would be able to achieve this goal. However, with the support of my family, my work family and TDC, I am now a LCSW!! I still can't believe this happened!!

Your program was so well organized, clearly presented, well managed and comfortable. The small steps were easy to manage (mind you, not simple, but easy to study) and worked to build my confidence. The constant reminders re: "how to think" were so helpful. The study guides, tests, and answer explanations were excellent. It was as though you took years of study and put it into a few hours. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to the success of other Social Workers. Thank you for helping me achieve a life long goal. Thank you.

I am over the moon to have passed my LCSW exam first time, and i don't think I could have done it without TDC. Having an outline of how to study, understanding what the test was testing, having materials in different formats and the excellent support of TDC coach Heidi definitely got me through. Although there were a lot of questions on the test I was unsure about, the course helped me to rely on strategies and have confidence in my judgement. In the past i have struggled with test anxiety, but after completing the course twice, i felt ready and prepared. Thank you TDC :-)

I found the TDC prep course outstanding in particular with getting you in the appropriate mental space for the test along with stages of thinking to help retain information. I was able to get accommodations since the first time I didn't pass the exam so the extra time is ultimately what I needed personally to pass. However, the snacks and utilization of breaks was huge. Thank you!!!

I am so grateful to The Therapist Development Center and you two ladies on the audio training. After attempting to pass 2 other times, this was the best experienced I had studying to pass the LCSW exam. I actually went into the course with such confidence of knowing the material and my practice. The course contributed to my success in passing.

I have used TDC for both my law and ethics exam and for the clinical exam. Passed the first time for both exams. EXCELLENT materials! The best is learning how to reason out the questions. Thank you TDC!!

I used TDC for both my Law and Ethics and Clinical exam! Their approach to thinking through and problem-solving the exam questions definitely helped me orient my thinking and give me confidence when taking my exam! I always recommend them to my friends and colleagues who need a study program.

When I decided the take the ASWB Clinical exam, I had no idea where to begin studying until I found the Therapist Development Center. This program was extremely well thought out, organized, and comprehensive. The study schedule helped keep me on track without becoming overwhelmed. The lectures were thorough without being burdensome. I'm thankful that the material was presented in many different ways (lectures, handouts, quizzes, mock exams). All of the practices questions and rationales were what set this program apart and what helped me be successful. Being able to talk to a coach was also extremely helpful, and Heidi's responses were always prompt and detailed. TDC is the reason I was able to pass this exam on my first attempt, and I am incredibly thankful for this amazing study system!

I had heard about TDC and how great it is. I purchased it a couple of months ago to study. It is beyond expectation and I can say it is all that you need to be prepared for this exam. I did not follow the schedule it suggested, but I followed their step by step guideline. You don't need any other materials. Thank you TDC Staff.

What I enjoyed the most about TDC is that the program helped me get a head-start on studying because the studying schedule was already set up for me. I also learned how to study for the exam and how to think about the questions. The strategies offered helped me feel very confident on the day of the exam and I passed!

Excellent program that teaches us how to understand the social work codes of ethics, and use it as a tool to problem solve exam questions and real life issues that social workers may face on and off the field. The program teaches us how to be efficient during the exam. The program is also easy to use and follow if English is your second language; my first language is Portuguese. I highly recommend this program.
