The lectures were really helpful. The information was well summarized. There were excellent test taking strategies and tips included.

I graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 2004. I had not seen a lot of this material in 15 years. In PA license is not required, and in VA where I lived there is a license prior to the clinical. When I moved to California in 2011, the BBS was not administering the National Exam, so I spent a lot of time study an entirely different process. Once the ASWB was incorporated, I shifted my studies and purchases AATBS and was given 5 large books to surf through with mock test that only show you how your doing, but not how to engage the material, or answer questions. My husband said you need a study plan, a strategy, so you can relearn the material, and OH My God, I found Therapist Development. I repeated the material twice in its entirety and then one more time S1 thru S5. I felt very prepared. I was confident. The what to do First really did the job, going over the 50 topics Quick studies are amazing, and all the material is just phenomenal. The use of the coach Heidi was awesome even answering questions during the Holiday. Thank you Heidi. Amanda I could go on and on, just know that I took you in the exam a few different times.. and your two year old to get through some of the "normal development". I was not allowed to eat although i called and asked in advance. At question 90, I got up and drank water. I was truly feeling the difference. At question 120, I felt like given up. I actually said just quit, your not doing well. I felt like a panic attack, and I remember Amanda said people think they are having a panic attack, but it is sugar level being low. The next thing I heard was Amanda saying stay with it~push through and get through this EXAM!! and My God I did it~~ thank you and your staff. A glass of Red Wine & Chocolate well deserved!

I found the clinical exam to be a breeze after working on all the mock exams provided by The Therapist Development Center. I only had to take the exam once. The tutorials were invaluable. I highly recommend this program especially for nervous test takers. Follow the program as it was designed and you simply cannot fail!

I was told about TDC from a co-worker who took the exam and failed and then used the TDC program and passed. I had never taken the exam before so a couple of days before I got really anxious. I have always been told I was not a good test taker. I started thinking that maybe the program will not cover what I will need for the exam. I could have NEVER been more wrong. I would advise anyone that will be taking the LCSW exam to use this program. When I read the first question I smiled. It was just like being in one of the TDC mock exams. I am telling every person I know that will be taking the exam that they need to purchase from TDC. AMAZING!

After being out of school for a few years, I took the clinical exam and failed by 3 points. I wasn’t mad, I realized I needed to study and figured out what areas I needed to work on. I purchased other study materials that were overwhelming and didn’t give any recommendations on what to study specifically. It was a book and a mock exam. I couldn’t focus, had no clue as to what areas I should really focus on and I just felt lost. I didn’t even want to look at the book because it was information overload. After my colleague purchased the TDC material, she passed her exam and it motivated me even more to try it. Once I started the study materials, I felt like I had a plan. I stuck to it and the day I took the exam...I felt confident! The material is easy to follow and really helps you stay organized. I passed the exam and I’m really grateful! It’s definitely worth it.

It's a great program.

I really could not have passed the ACSW test without TDC. The course is so organized and structured, making it so much easier to keep on track and study in a very intentional format. An applicant can really get overwhelmed by all the material there is to learn but TDC really prepares you for what your really need to know to be a competent clinical social worker. Amanda really understands the human learning process and prepares you to study in the most efficient way AND maintain your regular life. I had to balance studying with a lot of other responsibilities, and honestly, if I had concentrated only on studying all the time, I probably would not have passed. Heidi was very patient in answering all my questions and reassuring me that non of my questions were dumb questions. I am amazed that I passed on my first try!! Thank you, TDC!!

I really appreciated everything about this program from the suggested study schedule, to the audio and numerous practice tests. I needed a lot of guidance, so this was great for my learning style. I really appreciated the audio on learning how to differentiate the diagnoses without having to learn the full criteria. The online practice tests and mock exams helped so much. The 2nd half mock exam, the 1st full mock exam, and the rationales really helped me understand how to figure out what the question stem was really asking and what answers they were looking for. I was initially very anxious about this exam and after completing the program I surprisingly went into the real exam with some confidence and a lot less anxiety than I anticipated.

This was a good program! This was the only study prep I used and I passed the exam on the first try! I listened to most of the audio workshops twice which I thought were really helpful. Take the practice tests. They'll give you a good idea of how long it will take you to complete the actual exam and the questions are similar to the types of questions you'll encounter on the test. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone taking the LCSW exam.

I am elated to have passed by exam on 12/2/19. I am grateful to the TDC team for being thorough re: the coverage in topics as well as the tips and tricks to prepare for the exam. Amanda, I did take your advice and I did take you with me into the exam. I read every word carefully and answered the questions in the way that I thought you would. The Code of Ethics was more than helpful in guiding me through the exam as well. I'm glad that I did follow my friend's suggestion to place my time, money and trust in the program; she passed her exam earlier this year.) Now that I'm over this hurdle, time to move on with other aspects of my professional growth.
