I enrolled in TDC in preparation for my second LCSW exam. The first exam, I was confident in my knowledge but not confident regarding the actual exam. I failed it. At that point all confidence evaporated quickly! I wallowed. Top rated study materials I had began to just look like words on paper. I knew I had to do a paradigm shift regarding the exam but I did not know where or how. First, I had to realize that I really didn't know as much (about the profession) as I believed I did. But second, I needed to realize I knew a heck of a lot and it wouldn't take too long to be back on track. Lastly, the exam is a world of its own. TDC trusted I had the knowledge, so they prepared me for the exam- ie, types of questions, language format used, scenarios and more. For me, it all boiled down to the most right answer. TDC separated the topics and offered different ways to learn and test to the materials. The audio lessons were great too. Whenever I felt I missed a part in the lesson I would immediately rewind and re-listen. I had a 4 hour drive to the exam and the audio aspect was great for that. I will say I was skeptical when I first enrolled but I also felt I was at the end of the (professional) rope. I live in a small community and the only study partners I could find were people who had already passed the exam. So they would give me a few minutes of their attention but often they would get distracted, say things like "you can do it!", or just smile and wander off.. :). I feel confident in saying this course helped me a great deal. Best to all prospective LCSW exam takers!

Awesome program.

This program was tremendously helpful for me to pass my LCSW test the first time! The structure and materials made learning the information attainable and less intimidating. Amanda and Bethany’s expertise were extremely helpful for retaining and relating the material to my own clinical experience. Their guidance was empowering and assuring that I already knew the information which decreased my anxiety immensely. I also greatly appreciate their support for military members and veterans as I am an Air Force Veteran. It cannot recommend this program enough!! Thank you so much, TDC!

I passed the LCSW Exam today! TDC is an absolutely amazing program, especially for kinesthetic learners, like myself. I went into the test feeling confident and well prepared. TDC is the only program I've used, as attempts to use others left me overwhelmed and confused. I was so equipped, that I completed the 4-hour exam in 2 hours and 56 mins! This was my 2nd attempt. The first attempt was unsuccessful due to debilitating anxiety. I took Amanda into the test with me and I'm so glad I did. Thanks TDC for developing an outstanding program and being true to your word of sticking with us until we pass and honoring veterans by making the program available at no cost. I highly recommend TDC!

I used Dawn Apgar and pocket prep first time and was shy by 4 points. Second time maybe I was a little overconfident and actually my score decreased 8 more points. On the third try, which I used TDC I increased my score by 20 points and passed the exam.

I thank God for me passing. TDC was instrumental at me realizing my goal. Thank you for such a comprehensive program

I used TDC for my CA Law & Ethics Exam and passed the first time. I knew I would come back to TDC for my LCSW Exam. This material is so intuitive and quite honestly empowering! The LCSW Exam can feel so intimidating, but after listening to all the lectures and words of encouragement from Amanda and her team I walked into the exam with my head held high. I moved to CA from NYC in August 2019 to eventually assume responsibility for my grandmother's 25+ year Pasadena private psychotherapy practice. Unfortunately, she passed away unexpectedly on 12/1/19. I had already completed my supervision hours in NY, passed my CA Law & Ethics Exam and registered for my ACSW status. However, I was not prepared for the LCSW exam. I paid for another, very expensive, study program but it overwhelmed me. A new clinician at my private practice suggested the Therapist Development Center's program. I COULD NOT HAVE PASSED AT THIS POINT AND TIME WITHOUT YOU!!! The combination between audio, advice, text, quizzes, and full-length exams jump-started my studying and enabled me to focus and prepare. I studied for 2 weeks and passed! I graduated from school in 2011!! THANK YOU!
