I just wanted to say that the course material, quizzes, mock exams, study guides and audio present of the material in a variety of ways and was extremely useful when dealing with complicated vignettes during the exam. I didn’t get a perfect score! But I did get about an 88% on the exam which was well within the passing range. This was my second attempt. After my first attempt I was not quite sure what I had done wrong and how to answer the questions properly and knew that I needed more help. Thank you
I passed with flying colors on the first try after just 1.5 weeks of studying!!!! I only needed 103 points to pass, and I got 125!!! The most helpful aspects of this program were the lectures on the Code of Ethics and safety. I'm going to estimate that more than 1/2 the questions on the exam were based in some way on the Code of Ethics, and 1/4 were based on safety. The remaining 1/4 of the exam was a mix of SW role-specific questions (i.e., protocol in a hospital social work setting for DV) and diagnostic questions (DO know the criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder and the corresponding interventions, DBT and setting clear boundaries).
This study system really really works. I passed the ASWB clinical exam the first time and only used the TDC for study materials. It is a lot of work but you will get everything you need to pass the test. I highly recommend the TDC.
I failed the exam the first time after using a different program to study for the exam. It left me ill prepared and I got destroyed when taking the exam the first time. So when I decided to study up again for the second time, I gave this course a go. It was a night and day difference between this program and other programs out there. Instead of memorizing stupid acronyms that didn't work or trying to memorize all possible study material, this course was able to get me to change the way that I could work through the questions. After completing this course, I took the exam again and I crushed it! This course is definitely worth the time and money.
Thank you for the preparation. The lectures, quizzes and study sheets were a great help since I haven't taken an exam in over 10 years! Thanks again for helping me to prepare and pass the exam!
TDC has been so helpful! I have only had to take the test once, and that was a blessing. So grateful for this program, and worth every penny! Thankful as well for the extra mock exam.
TDC was the best program hands down that I have ever use! The first time I took the LCSW exam I was not prepared. I used study guides that promised I would pass and I did not. I was so disappointed and afraid to try again. I also used those other study guides because I did not want to spend a large amount of money on study tools but I learned that TDC was an investment into my future and if I really wanted to pass and be successful the next time I took the exam; I had to have THAT program. It did not matter the cost. I do not regret it one bit! The program stands by its word that you will pass if you put in the work and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much
Thanks so much TDC. I took my exam and passed today on the first attempt. I needed a 102 to pass and got 117. This study system is the real deal guys! Amanda and the TDC team are amazing. The course outline is easy to follow from the quizzes to the audio which is super helpful. I want to give a huge shout out to Heidi one of the coaches (yes you get coaches included to answer your questions). I emailed a question and I was so expecting a blanket answer. Nope...like a real coach Heidi broke my question down into steps and I kept reviewing what she said and it helped sooooo much on the first/next questions. Last piece of advice... A social worker is preparing to take the LCSW exam. What should the social worker do first?
A. Purchase TDC
That's the first thing you should do if you want to pass. Good luck everyone and thanks for an amazing, well thought out program.
Great course! Enjoyed the multiple practice test that breaks down he answers.
I am 22 years out of grad school. I took 10 years off from SW, had 3 kids and went back to the field a few years ago. I was so far from my education when I started studying. In my pretest I scored a 48%. What I liked about this program was the mix of audio, quizzes and then tests. Little by little, I retained more and more information . When I hit what felt like plateau, I reached out to the coaches and was redirected to an early lecture about test strategy. I believe that lecture is what brought me over from close to passing to definitely passing. Most of my exam questions were "what should the SW do first." This took a while for me to grasp. 20 questions into the exam and I was confident I was going to pass because I felt well prepared. I can't say enough about this program. Having my LCSW will be a career changer for me. I am sooo happy! My employer even reimbursed me for this program. I just can't say enough about my experience. This program is worth the money. Before I close, I wanted to say I especially liked that the program was going to be available to me until I passed. I subscribed to this program way before I was ready to start studying. At the time I had all intentions to start studying but life happened. No problem, I asked for an extension a couple of times and it was granted. There were no worries. Josephine
