Yes.
The first time I took the LCSW exam, my twins were young, and they both got very sick the night before the exam. Unfortunately, I went into the exam feeling sick as well and failed the exam. I was devastated. A friend shared how she used TDC to help her study; TDC (and big shout out to Amanda & Bethany) helped keep me focused, confident, and the Mock Exams & Quick Studies helped me with my test anxiety! Due to COVID my test had to be rescheduled in March until today, and TDC graciously extended my study program. Today, I walked out smiling, so happy and shaking with excitement with my BIG PASS in hand !!!! THANKS TDC!!!!!

Thank you for your support and guidance! I felt confidence going into the clinical exam. The practices tests were very helpful in getting me to apply critical thinking skills to the scenario questions and used to the structure of the exam. I scored 123.
I was extremely uncertain about how to prepare for the Clinical ASWB exam and had an extreme amount of anxiety about my capability to pass the first time. TDC put much needed order and structure to exam preparation. The last licensing exam I took was well over 20 years ago, so prior to having TDC materials I was at a monumental loss as to how to organize and what to specifically study for the exam. Completing the quizzes and mock exams were the most helpful in me feeling a sense of preparedness prior to exam day. Upon taking the exam, I felt a sense of familiarity and confidence when answering questions. Oddly enough, I felt the full mock exams with TDC were more difficult then the actual exam questions I was given on the real exam! TDC is an investment in time and money but well worth it, especially when you see "Congratulations! You have passed the Clinical ASWB Examination" go across your screen!
I couldn’t have passed without TDC.
I loved the Therapist Development Center! I felt like this study program helped manage anxiety that comes with taking the test and helped with developing a study plan. I definitely learned a lot! The material put things into perspective and I found the various formats used helpful. I would definitely recommend this to peers or anyone looking for a good study guide!
This course was excellent. I had been out of grad school for over 20 years and this really caught me up with the new information and solidified basic social work information that I should have been taught in my MSW studies but had not. I would highly recommend this course.
I’m still in shock and disbelief that I passed my ASWB exam last week. I used TDC for both my law and ethics exam and my ASWB exam and I could not be more thankful for the study material and test preparation. The half mocks and full mocks with rationales at the end were invaluable. Not only did the material help me pass my exam but it prepared me to think critically and clinically. The study techniques helped me not panic and think through the question stem. I have already recommended this program to friends and colleagues. Thank you TDC!
This program is is very informative and practical for real life situations.
I am officially an LCSW!!! I want to thank TDC for their program and for the multiple extensions they granted me ( no questions asked). I purchased the program close to 1 year ago ready to study and test. Life had other plans for me and after going multiple medical procedures and chronic illness, I finally scheduled to test in April 2020 (Began studying in January 2020). I was doing well with the material and was finding myself in a focused groove. As you all know, CA went into lockdown in March and my test was cancelled. I was crushed! I was able to reschedule for June but again, COVID and an unexpected move once again forced me to push back to July. Not going to lie, I was starting to feel a little hopeless. I resumed studying end of May 2020. I went through the entire program for a 3rd and 4th time while at home alone with a 3 y/o. I liked that the prep course had the audios because it made it easy for me to study while completing chores and while my son napped. I also snuck into the bathroom for 5-10 minutes once in a while and did lots of driving while listening to the audios :) I finally took the mocks 1 week before the exam. I took a 3 day break in between mocks and was surprised to score 80/76 on the full mocks. Yet I still felt anxious about being ready (thought maybe I got lucky) that is until I listened to the pep talk that Amanda includes in the course. After listening to her words, I finally felt assured that I was ready. On test day: I followed Amanda's recommendation and played my favorite songs on the way to the testing Center. I was lucky enough to schedule testing at a site 10 minutes away from home but I arrived 45 minute early to eat my banana and meditate. I did not study prior to going in (or the morning of) as it only heightened my anxiety and I felt it unnecessary. Despite wearing a mask for the duration of the exam, I felt calm and prepared. I started the exam and I immediately felt confident. The questions were very similar to those in the prep course. I did start to feel "panicked" mid-way through but I remembered what Amanda had said about my blood sugar crashing. I was able to bring in water with mixed in Crystal Light sweetener to mimic the taste of juice. I was able to access this drink (call ahead to see if your testing center allows this) during my break and it helped me tremendously. I went back in and took my last break once I had completed all the questions. At this point I still had about 1.5 hours. I came back in, reviewed only my marked questions and only changed 2-3 "Aha" questions. I took a big breath, completed the survey and pressed complete, closed my eyes and opened them to see a "Congratulations, you passed" notification. I honestly got teary eyed and held back from crying. I felt so relieved and overjoyed! I received my score and noted that I needed 102 to pass, I scored 120. I left and bought myself a fancy coffee and celebrated! I just want to thank TDC for sticking with me throughout this process. I know COVID has made this process a little more challenging but I want to assure you that I did not find the mask unbearable and I was able to get through it. Wishing all of you the best! Thanks again.
Thanks to all the amazing staff, I passed my exam on the first try! ! I found this course to be very helpful in helping me prepare to take my LMSW clinical exam! The rationales and lectures really helped me on the actual test!
