The course emphasizes thinking rather than memorization and prepares students very well for the types of questions they'll encounter on the exam. I passed with over 90%, so thanks!
I passed the LCSW on the first try! It was very helpful in preparing me for the LCSW. I got a 60% on my pretest. I got a 79% and a 75% on my final mock exam. I did average on my final exam. The exam looks different from the prep course, but Amanda teaches you how to think for it. I recommend this course because it helps me think not only for the LCSW but also for real life practice as a social worker. There were valuable information I learned that are useful for my career such as creating a safety plan with DV case and how to work with patients with DV case.
TDC is the most comprehensive program that prepares you to pass the first time. The program prepares you to trust your knowledge rather than acronyms.
So worth every penny! I loved the program, the way is it structure really helped me focus and stay on track.
Using TDC study material I was throughly prepared for the ASWB Clinical Level Exam!
I am so happy I took this course, I do not think I would have been prepared for the way the exam asked questions or some of the topic areas if not for TDC. Thank you.
I felt like TDC well prepared me for the test. Questions were similar in the way they were presented on the test. I knew what to expect going into the test. I enjoyed the audio lectures, especially the pep talk on the final one. Even my son reminded me to have sugar during the test, as he overheard me listening to the lecture. Funnily enough I was not allowed to eat food during the test but I had randomly put a juice box in my purse from my hotel grab and go breakfast knowing I might need it for the test and it got me through the last two hours. Thank you.
I suffer from test-taking anxiety. I had to take my shoes and socks off during the examination; went outside and walked on the grass for a couple of minutes to ground myself during the test. I knew the clock was ticking but I had to do it.
The test seemed easy because the questions were short; one to two sentences at times but they packed so much. I got hung up-i think, on putting things in order (FIRST & NEXT) even when the question wasn't asking to do so. I had to remind myself of the prompts; re-read the question, the abundance of information it provided and specially the last part of the question where at times, would not need to take into account all the information provided in the stem. That was the hard part. Reading the questions, word by word as suggested was extremely helpful. Because of my anxiety, I had to do that a couple of times.
It's all done now. I DID IT!!!!!!
thank you!!!!!
Thank you for a wonderful course. I studied half-full days for three weeks. Practiced many times the tests and read again and again the logic explanation and listen to the lectures. The test was very hard and I did not pass with high score but whatever score I got was thank to this program that made me think differently on the way I answer the questions. First time I studied with different method, I failed but now thanks to this program I got today my LCSW.
I purchased the TDC course to prep for the LCSW exam wayyyyy back in January 2019. I was approved to take the exam in June 2019 and shortly thereafter, learned that I was pregnant. I set a goal to take the exam prior to the birth of my son, but quickly realized that working full time while growing a human being was exhausting. Needless to say, I didn’t take the exam. The clock was ticking and I knew I needed to take the exam before my application expired, so once my son started sleeping for more than 30 minutes stretches, I finally logged back into TDC where they graciously granted me (many) extensions so that I could continue to access the course. So if you were considering procrastinating sitting for your LCSW exam that you had an entire calendar year to take it but still scheduled it the day before your application expired, while mothering a teething infant during the stress of a worldwide pandemic, I am here to tell you that it’s a terrible idea. Thankfully, I PASSED! The TDC program was 100% worth the investment.
