TDC was very helpful in teaching skills for how to take the exam. I was fairly comfortable with the content before beginning to study but I learned very helpful strategies for thinking critically about the exam questions. I would definitely recommend TDC. I spent a three weeks casually studying and one more week really going over the mock exams and reviewing and I passed the LCSW on my first try.
After failing the 1st time, I purchased this course and it did not disappoint! Before purchasing this system, it was hard for me to get organized and know exactly what to study. This course does all of that for you. I still had a lot of anxiety going into the test center for the 2nd time, but I Passed! I needed 103 questions correct and ended with 119 answers correct. I thank this course for that!
Thank you TDC for all your wisdom and guidance! I passed the LCSW exam on my first try! Woohoo! I don't think I would have passed without this program. This program gave me the confidence that I needed to pass the exam. I would definitely recommend this program to others! Thank you TDC!
I would have never passed without TDC. I felt well prepared and confident even throughout the exam.
This course helped to prepare me to take the exam. The mock test and practice test really prepared me for the questions on the exam. I'm so excited that I passed the test. Thank you TDC for all your help.
The best part of the TDC is that you start your test feeling confident that you have done everything in your power to prepare for your exam. The anxiety was still there, but I felt that I had the knowledge and skills to pass the test. If you follow their study tips, complete the practice exams, take notes and review, you will be successful! Also, the advice to bring juice was a lifesaver. I could not have a snack during my exam and the sugar from the juice was my lifeline!
I had taken the test two times before in another state and the study material was nothing like the exam. Therapist Development Center was amazing because it helped me to know how to answer the questions correctly. I’m so glad I had this program to help me pass.
After going through just the first study session I was already feeling more comfortable about taking the exam. I recommend this resource to anyone who is preparing for the LCSW exam.
I work in a very high-demanding field (child welfare system) and crises with families and children are the norm in this field. My biggest worry was finding the balance of being able to study adequately, while balancing high demand of professional and personal needs. TDC is truly phenomenal and I really learned a lot, especially how to "read between the lines" because some of these questions were very tricky. I highly recommend those pursuing LMSW and LCSW to use TDC as the foundation to prep for the exam.
What are you waiting for? Go ahead and invest in yourself and purchase this study program!! Sure, it's pricey but it's totally WORTH every cent! On 9/4/2020 I PASSED my ASWB Clinical Exam on the 1st attempt! Honestly, it was due to TDC (amanda & Bethany)!!! The study system is thorough and covers everything you need to learn. I love the "Listen & Learn" audios. I printed everything and organized it into a jumbo binder and wrote all of my notes directly on the paper as I was listening to the audios. I liked how I was able to take quizzes, partial and full mocks and review my answers and rationales to determine where I went wrong. A few days before my exam I was emailing with Heidi who gave me some great tips and suggestions as my testing anxiety kicked into high gear this week. I've had a headache for 3 days and no tylenol could help it. Finally now after passing I'm feeling much better. Testing anxiety is real! I have a 1 and 5 year old at home, so I made arrangements with my husband, my parents and in-laws and came to a hotel the night before so I could get good rest, and get into testing mode and try to relax myself. I put lavender oil on my face mask because I knew I had to wear the mask the entire time during the test. I completed some deep breathing exercises before I went into the testing site and once I got to my assigned seat. Then after question one popped up, I took about 7-10mins and I took my dry erase board and wrote down all the different meds for the various disorders (only the brand name lol), wrote down Freud, Piaget, and Erickson's stages.. wrote down various disorders and the timeline for those disorders. I wrote down FIRST/NEXT and wrote 1, 2, 3, 4. I took a break around question 103 because I was on a roll and didn't even realize I had passed question 85, LOL! I went out for about 7-10 minutes and sipped some of my water (they said I couldn't open my juice or it would be a violation), I walked around and stretched. I went back in and the rest is history! I felt pretty good honestly once I hit the continue button. I marked a few questions and I did change my answer on two of them and then remembered Amanda said to leave it alone unless there is an "Ah-ha" moment so I proceeded to submit. I was elated to see the "PASS" on the next screen! When I received the unofficial score report from the attendance it said I needed 102 and I got 104. Not big of a gap but its a PASS so thats all that matters! Thanks again TDC!!
