I was nervous about the exam because not only is it difficult, but I suffered a stroke on 5/1/20. The staff were helpful in getting me an extension as I had originally purchased the program in February of 2020 and had my original exam date in June of 2020. Nevertheless, the structure of the program was helpful and helped relieve some stress as I found the practice exams (including mock) to be most helpful with my preparation. I felt my retention abilities were limited after my stroke but the program was structured well and helped me feel prepared for my exam. I had not taken the exam beforehand and I am so happy and relieved to have passed. Thank you for all of the preparation and answering my questions along the way.

I would definitely use tdc again. It was nice having the multiple ways to study; audio, practice tests, forms. Go through program a few times.

I would like to say thank you for such a great program made available for free to military veterans. I tried other study material and took the test once before and I felt I was better prepared after taking this course. It was very easy to navigate and the lectures were amazing! I will recommend this to anybody that I know that needs to prepare for this exam. Thanks so much!

I don’t know why I didn’t choose TDC the first time around. I deeply regret it. TDC prepared me for the test! Do what they say and you will be successful!

TDC not only helped me pass my clinical exam but also prepared me to become a better-equipped and much confident social worker. The audio workshops were extremely helpful for me as listening to the explanations behind reasoning questions helps me learn and process information much better compared to just reading off of handouts. Amanda's way of explaining made it enjoyable to listen to the workshops. The half mock exams and two full mock exams also prepared me mentally and my patience to sit for the actual exam. I highly recommend TDC to all social workers who want to take the exam!

I am so happy I chose the The Therapist Development Center as my resource for studying for the ASWB LCSW Exam! I came from a Macro Social Work background and had no idea of what to study of where to start in regards to the Clinical License exam. TDC's system solved my problem of getting organized and help me focus only on the relevant materials needed for this exam. The audio lectures, study guides were not at all overwhelming, but simple easy to digest! The quizzes (which covered each topic), along with the practice tests and Mock Exams ( 2 half, 2 full) were very similar to what I seen on the actually exam. These tools helped calm initiate toward the anxiety. I followed their system (trusting in the testimonies of others before me), and it worked! On my first attempt I PASSED, scoring 11 points higher than what I needed. Bottom line: If you need a system, that provides structure and solid content, this course is worth it!!!

I would highly recommend this course! I’ve been out of school since 2006 and really needed a refresher. This course offered great general test-taking tips, LCSW-specific test-taking tips, audio, print-outs, mock quizzes and exams. It’s a one-stop-shop for passing the test. Thank you!
