For years I told myself, "I'm not a test taker" and I felt really lost thinking about taking this test. I thought I had to memorize the DSM to pass this exam. But with the help of TDC, I was able to reframe my mindset and the way I thought about myself as well as the actual test. I even feel more confident to practice as a LCSW. I feel better connected to the Code of Ethics, mandated reporting, etc. I think because TDC makes these concepts relatable to actual practice. Overall, the test felt less intimidating because of TDC.

I am also a person that likes structure and I consider myself to be task oriented. Therefore the way the program is set up worked out great for me. I tell my friends/colleagues that TDC helped me feel like the test was manageable and the studying was paced throughout time, rather than cramming and hoping for the best. I enjoyed being able taking time throughout the week for studying and having a normal life.

Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this program. I did not utilize anything else but TDC and I felt very prepared for the exam and my ability to critically think throughout the entire exam. Thank you Amanda and TDC team!!!

I was nervous about scheduling my exam because of the scary stories I had heard from friends and colleagues who took the licensing exam and failed not just. As a working clinician, I was concerned that I would not have the time or peace of mind to study from home. Then the pandemic happened, I experienced some personal loss and had to regroup. I was not sure to even apply for the LCSW exam but my 6th was looming and I NEEDED to test before it appeared as though I had abandoned my hours/application for testing. I was nervous and completed the TDC course. I relied heavily on the support and guidance of Heidi T. She was remarkable. She not only helped me explore rationale and answering my many questions, she helped me organize my studying since I was working full time with juggling life, so that I could successfully schedule my study time. I opted to take the course and review the entire course which was perfect for me. I had enough time to learn and break down the critical thinking skills necessary for the exam. The Therapist Development Center truly prepares you for what the national exam is truly like. Investing in this study course will help you gain the strategies to pass with confidence. Believe me, when they said take Amanda with you, I did and it worked! A special shout out to Heidi for her patience and many e-mails.

THANK YOU!! I passed my LCSW exam on the first try on 2/7/2021! I could hear Amanda with me in my head - it was so helpful to be able to look at the questions differently and narrow down my answers. I have passed both my exams on the first try AFTER taking your course. I did not pass law and ethics until I took your course - and I had bought plenty of other tools. TDC really prepares you for the WAR that taking this exam is - rounds and rounds of answering questions paid off. Thank you TDC!

TDC was so great! I felt that their tests actually prepared me better than the ASWB practice tests and helped me focus on studying only what I really needed to know to learn to break down the questions. The system is designed really well & I will definitely be sending colleagues!

This course first and foremost gave me STRUCTURE! The mock exams were also super realistic and prepared me for the real deal. I failed my first time without TDC by 6 points and passed this time by 16 points!

I PASSED! I am so grateful for this program. I had taken this exam two previous times and was unsuccessful. I became very discouraged and overwhelmed with studying on my own. I felt lost and was unsure how to proceed. I finally decided to buy this program and give it a shot. It was the best decision I could have made. It was the extra boost I needed (audio, worksheets, quizzes, test, and explanations for answers). This program is wonderful and I highly recommend.

I was advised by several social work colleagues to utilize this program. Many had tried other study programs and unfortunately not passed, until they used yours. I wasn’t sure whether I’d be able to take my exam as scheduled, a friend of mine was scheduled to take it in December and was rescheduled for March, so admittedly, I didn’t allow myself much rime to study, I got through the study and practice exams, but ran out of time before taking the mock exams. That said, I passed!!! I credit my passing score to the way the study material is organized and the audio lectures, which I made a point to listen to in their entirety. I’d recommend this program to anyone looking for a tried and true system for passing the LCSW exam!

TDC helped me feel prepared, confident and ready to take the exam. I not only felt prepared with knowledge from the material but I also felt comfortable on test day taking breaks, talking quietly to myself while reading and taking my time thanks to the program normalizing these practices. I was hesitant to pay for yet another course/book/etc after already spending money on other materials. I read front to back the aswb prep book and did not feel prepared in the least. Once I made the decision to do TDC lcsw prep I immediately felt more prepared. From the first audio with Amanda I already felt much better about going into the exam. I feel like I was prepared in answering the tough questions. I’m cannot say enough good things about this program. Don’t waste your time on other programs- TDC IS THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO STUDY. I am a senior clinician with 25+ years experience in NY state. I had never taken the clinical exam as it became required after I had been practicing for 10 years and I was grandfathered in with my experience alone. I recently moved to MA and in order for me to practice here, passing the exam was required. TDC was so helpful to me. The overwhelming amount of material was masterfully organized for absorbing in a step by step, painless process. The tests provided the practice of format needed and each review reinforced my learning of new and old knowledge. Amanda felt to me like a private coach, providing me with test taking strategies and insider knowledge of how to approach the test and the materials. Bravo to TDC!
