I’m so grateful for Therapist Development Center's ASWB study program, as it helped me to pass the exam on the first try! Without the strategies I learned in the TDC program, I do not believe I would have passed. I also feel like I’m an even better Social Worker from this complete review. I have a feeling of accomplishment, and confidence in areas I was unfamiliar with (other fields of Social Work). Thanks, TDC!
I recommend this program through and through. It helped prepare me to read the questions correctly and know what the test is asking me! I felt so confident through out taking the test!
I appreciated how TDC pairs down what to focus on. I had been using a previous study system that offered a lot of information and while it was helpful it was too much information to work with. The fact that you can create a schedule with TDC is extremely helpful for the anxious text taker. It helped the study process feel manageable. I highly recommend this program!
TDC worked for me. I don’t think I would have passes without TDC. Compared to my LSW where I struggled and had no idea of TDC, I can totally attest to TDC playing a significant role in my success. Thank you all so much!!
The course helped prepare me with not just information on content but how to think, study, and physically prepare for test day. The lectures helped me study from anywhere. Having a study plan saved so much time.
I really loved how study sessions were easily broken down into manageable sections. Every topic, lecture, and quiz helped me pass! I would recommend this to anyone gearing up to take the clinical exam,
I initially tried to study on my own going through the DSM and making flashcards. I found myself overwhelmed and was hesitant to purchase TDC because I’m a visual learner. But I finally decided to about a week into studying hoping it would give me more structure. It absolutely did! Even though I’m a visual learner it really helped listening to the lectures on my way to work. I also, as suggested, printed out the quick studies and complete them myself. As advised, I went through the program twice and then continue to study concepts I needed to grasp. I took both short mock tests and both full mock tests, and scored 75% on all of them. By following every recommendation made by TDC, it really made all the difference for me. The day of my exam I listened to the final peptalk on my way to the site. I went in with the mindset to attack the exam, as Amanda suggested. I wrote down on my whiteboard, among other things, “tolerate uncertainty”, and when I would get stuck or was not sure how I was doing I would look down at that those 2 words, take a deep breath, and continue. I finished in two hours and 45 minutes and after initially freezing at the sight of the word PASS on the screen, I put my head down on the desk and let out a quiet cry. Your program made all the difference and I thank you so so much!!
I love the structure that TDC's study program offered. So much better than just reading a book which is how I've heard some other companies do. It was so satisfying to be able to check off each step as I completed it. I also had two sessions with Heidi, a TDC coach and that was so helpful. She was easily available by email and gave me lots of additional tips and was very supportive. Overall I am so glad that I used TDC and will be recommending this program to everyone who is planning on taking the exam. I was able to pass on my first try and I'm just so happy and relieved. Thanks TDC!
This study system prepared me incredibly well for the exam. I knew how to answer questions I was unsure of and I had all the information needed for the recall based questions. So pleased!
TDC is a great study tool if you are someone who does well with the following learning styles: Verbal and Auditory. Although I am more of a visual learner, I was still was able to study well with the auditory style as most lectures I was able to visualize the content being discussed. The rationales provided were extremely helpful as I was able to understand how my thought pattern lead to the wrong answer. I retained more when I answered wrong. Thank you TDC!
