This was the second time I've used the TDC. I first used it for the Law and Ethics Exam, and I passed. I decided to use it for the Clinical Exam. I bought the program with three weeks of preparation time before taking the exam. The practice tests were excellent, and the study guides and quizzes were perfect.
I feel that the actual test was easier than the practice tests. On the two 170 questions practice exams, I scored 74 the first time, and 76 for the second exam. On the actual exam, I got 85%. The whole team for the TDC is wonderful. When I wasn't listening to their lectures, I was listening to their YouTube channel (spoiler alert, they have a YouTube channel).
All in all, I thought it was fantastic.
This program made studying so much easier. I felt the quantity of information was condensed in the most simple way. I never felt overwhelmed with the amount of information I needed to study. The key was to really learn how to tackle the questions since almost all are scenarios.
I am grateful for the TDC course. I used it now for both my Law & Ethics exam and LCSW exam, and passed both. What I appreciate even more than passing my first time on both tests, is feeling like I had a stress-free (or low stress) study plan. Amanda and her team break down everything into digestible chunks so it feels you can live your life while preparing. Thank you TDC team!
I took the LCSW exam once prior to using the TDC study course. I remembered really struggling to know what and how to study. But I tried, on my own. I didn’t pass that first time. I was determined to not have to take this exam a 3rd time. I found the TDC course and bought it. I really loved the structured study plan you get. TDC does a great job covering major topics but what was most helpful for me was learning how to think for the exam. I’ve already recommended this to a couple other provisionally licensed people I know. So amazing and such a great help for this huge exam!
Good evening TDC team,
I just wanted to email you all to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! On Wednesday 5/26/21 I passed the LCSW examination in the state of VA. Your program is absolutely the best out there. I followed each step in the program for 5 months and passed the exam on the first try. I felt so confident answering the questions as I "attacked" the exam. My advice to others studying and feeling anxious about taking the exam, please stick with TDC. Do not purchase any apps, or watch other "experts" onYouTube, TDC is all you need. God bless your entire team! Please feel free to post on any media, marketing platforms.
Sincerely,
Onaje Turner, LCSW!!
I highly recommend using TDC to prepare for the LCSW exam. The program is detailed and thorough. The timelines were so helpful in planning and preparation. If you follow the program, you will be pleased with your results.
Thanks Amanda, you taught me "how to think" and succeed on the exam. I went in confident. I think the program is excellent. The audio portions were very helpful, I listened to them over and over and passed with a very high score :-) :-) :-)
I had recently moved, and needed my LCSW expanded opportunities. Having been in different work environments and roles [direct practice to most administrative in the years] I was feeling anxious about testing once I completed the clinical hours. Having a really superb Clinical Supervisor did not ease my anxiety, so I went on search for a prep course, and found this one. It is comprehensive, and really concrete with advisement on prep tips that incorporate the mind and body. I passed my exam on the first attempt, and my last SW licensing exam was over 20 years ago. I have already recommended this program to a colleague who is getting ready to apply for clinical licensing. It is worth the invest!
First off, I'd like to thank TDC for the excellent study materials which ultimately lead to me passing the LCSW Clinical Exam. I failed the first time by 5 points and was super disappointed in myself but I learned from that experience. This time, I went through the program twice and with the increased quiz scores, it gave me the confidence I needed to continue studying. I listened to the Law & Ethics audio 3 times because that was my weakest point in the actual exam. The examples that were given in the L&E audio did show up in the exam and made me think using that lens which I think helped. Walking into the testing center today was nerve wreaking but I did feel more confident this time. Take the break; it's very very important to step away for a few minutes. My testing center allowed us to only have a beverage and cough drops so that really helped get my sugar level up. Good luck, y'all. Trust the process because it works!!
All of my classmates seemed to have passed their LCSW exam on the first try. I was devastated when I failed the first time by a mere 3 points. With TDC, I passed on my second try! I definitely felt more confident going into the exam this time. Thank you TDC!
