I think this program is pretty full proof if you use it to it’s full potential. This program gives you so many questions with all the practice exams that some of them were very similar to some of the questions I saw on the test and I felt really comfortable as to what type of answer the question was looking for. I only took each exam once, but then reviewed the answers with the rationals and that was really helpful for me for honing in how to think about the test and figure out what it is looking for.
The practice exams were very helpful and when I took the Law and Ethics exam, it really felt like I was taking one of the TDC mock exams. That provided me a sense of comfort, that I CAN do this! Thank you!
I'd taken the LMLE exam twice and failed before acquiring the TDC program. I struggled with test anxiety, organization, how to study and understanding what the test questions were asking. Prior to using the TDC program I would always run out of time on the exam. After using the TDC program I understood what the questions were asking, I had a deeper understanding of the concepts and I finished the exam approximately 20 minutes early. I am not the most confident person but after using TDC and taking the exam I knew I passed before I saw my results. Initially, I struggled with the price of the program but you definitely get what you pay for and all of my colleagues who used TDC passed on the first try. If I used TDC the first time I'd probably be licensed by now. I will definitely be investing in the TDC Clinical Exam study package.
The TDC Law and Ethics prep course was worth every last penny! It was well organized and taught me to think in a particular way to not only pass the exam but also in a way that I can take and use clinically as well. I did not do so well on most of the mock exams but kept telling myself I could go back and listen to the top 30 topics as many times as I needed. The course helped me not lose hope. I just kept trusting the process and loved the last pep talk and strategies especially the reminder "to lean into" the exam.
I am very grateful to the therapist development center !!!!
This was a fantastic program! The multiple practice test are challenging and made me feel a little apprehensive, but when I took the exam, I felt prepared and confident in the test taking strategies Amanda provided. If you take notes on the lectures and complete all the steps, I think you will be ready as well.
The test had questions that were very similar to the ones from the practice exam/ mock exams, which helped a lot. The multiple choice answers were also very similar, so it was easy to find the correct answer if you reviewed the practice and mock exams. I was able to pass on my first try, but you really have to develop a certain way to rationalize the situations on the test that may feel very different from what it may look like in real life situations, and this course DEFINITELY teaches you to understand the situation in the ways that the test is looking for you to answer. Overall, it also helps increase ones professional competency in terms of handling legal and ethical issues as an MFT, because it highlights issues that may not have been covered in school.
I studied for 4 days and PASSED!! I could not be any more happy with TDC! Thank you for preparing me!
Using the TDC CA Law and Ethics program/course to prepare for the exam was helpful, particularly in reducing my anxiety by creating an organize system to review the information I would be tested on. I felt confident going into the exam and for that I am very grateful.
Thanks to TDC this is the FIRST time I felt confident and at ease while taking an exam. I’ve tried other programs and none can compare to TDC. TDC fully prepared me on how to apply deductive reasoning to ensure I pick the best answer. I usually experience severe test anxiety but the strategies taught during the study sessions helped me to manage my anxiety level and conquer the L&E test. I heard Amanda’s voice throughout the test and felt confident about my answers. Although I’m on the LPCC track, I can wholeheartedly recommend TDC’s L&E study plan to my fellow clinicians. P.S. I’m hoping TDC create a National Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NCMHC) study program for clinicians on a LPCC track.
