I took the MFT Clinical Exam on April 1, 2022. Passed with ease, with about 15 minutes to spare, even though I took a 5 minute bio, juice, fruit break after I finished question 90. I was running ahead of schedule, per the time guidelines I wrote on my white board.

The actual examination was a joy to engage with. I felt well prepared by TDC and believe that all the mock examinations (3 mocks + 2 final mocks) which were very helpful, were by *far* tougher that the real exam. All other materials were on point and helped meaningfully prepare me for this examination. My special thanks, as always, to Robin Gluck, for her calm voice of reason and encouragement. You rock, Robin!

I truly believe that engaging with all the preparation materials in a systematic and organized way, in addition to having good clinical experiences (client work [1:1 and group therapy], clinical case consultation, and excellent supervision) makes the difference. This exam was nothing more than a capstone for all the clinical experiences many of you have already had. You can and will slay this beast - and you will do so joyfully, as I did.

Approach the exam as an excellent clinician would work with a client. Having a curious, joyful, and positive mindset will help you cruise to victory.

The Therapist Development Center course for the CA Law and Ethics exam was spectacular. The design was intuitive and well organized. The material covered was spot-on relevant. I felt calm and (relatively) confident walking into the exam this morning, and I walked out with a PASS!

The first exam I failed was after waiting 18 months between studying and taking the exam. It was because the testing centers had been closed. I did some cursory re-studying, which was my big mistake. It no longer matters though...I took your course (just as recommended!) and passed. Thank you!

The study materials definitely over prepare you for the exam but all relevant to what a good clinician should know! This allowed me to "attack" the exam and felt at ease and well prepared to answer even the most difficult questions. Thanks TDC!!

Super helpful!!! The practice tests were much harder than the actual test. Very similar questions some were almost exact.

I used TDC for my Law and Ethics exam and for the California Clinical LMF exam and passed! This program is absolutely excellent.

I felt very prepared to take this exam and was given a lot of grace with extending dates when needed. I so appreicate this course and how easy it was so use. I will use it again for my licensing exam!

I recommended this course to a few of my friends and it was referred to me by a few people including my own therapist. I especially liked that it would explain how to approach each question in the exam. Also that there were so many practice exams. Reviewing the practice exams was most helpful. It really worked well for me and my learning style.

I made the mistake of initially purchasing the Gerry Grossman study materials. I had a bad feeling as soon as I started taking those practice questions--they contradicted each other, seemed designed to trick, and the sheer multitude of information without any kind of overarching organizing principle was absolutely overwhelming. I made the gut decision to switch to TDC with only a couple months remaining before my test and was instantly relieved. The framing of the program just felt comforting and as if there was someone looking out for me. As many others have mentioned, it focused on strategy, honing in on relevant information (rather than throwing a slew of meaningless memorization tools at me). When I sat down to take the actual exam, I was thrilled to find that the questions felt familiar and I knew how to attack them. In addition, I was blown away by the in-depth support from the Ask-a-Coach feature. I've already recommended this program to several colleagues, and credit TDC for passing my exam! This study prep was very comprehensive and totally helped me boost my self esteem before sitting for the exam. While the actual exam was challenging (mostly due to the convoluted way the questions were asked) this test prep really covered everything asked.
