TDC does an excellent job of providing the study material in digestible amounts, the program builds on itself so that if you follow it to a T, you will be successful. I passed my CA MFT clinical exam on my 1st try. Muchas Gracias TDC.
Thank you!! This program definitely prepared me for the exam!
I could not have passed the CA LMFT having Amanda in the room with me. Thank you!!
TDC community! I am thankful and relieved to report that I passed the clinical exam! What a journey it has been, life has really thrown massive curveballs including a baby into my juggling act as a full time working mama. Thank God for family support and the drive to become Licensed! This program is the ONLY reason I passed because although I have been a strong student, I never felt like I was a strong test taker. Managing anxiety and focusing on self care got me through this beast of a test. Thank you Amanda, Robin and the whole TDC family!
I passed the clinical exam the first time with the help of TDC. I will admit that my scores on the mocks were not great and I was experiencing test anxiety, but I still felt very prepared for the exam.
I was quite nervous about taking this test, but with the study materials, I was well prepared. When taking practice exams, I found that my scores were on the cusp of passing, but going over the answer explanations was highly effective in helping me understand the material. Between the lectures, rationales for test questions, and reading material, I found this program to exceed my expectations, helping me to pass on my first try!
TDC was the only study program I used. Reviewing the exams and listening to the rationals really helped ground my understanding. Listening to the 50 topics lecture two days prior of my exam helped remind me of the smaller details that I would forget to focus on because I was so worried about theories.
Thank you so much! I know I wouldn't have been able to pass this exam without the preparation I did through your program.
I ran out of time before exam day to take the final mock exam, but studying, followed by taking Mocks I and II along with carefully listening to the rationales prepared me very well. I still sat down to take the actual exam with some trepidation, because my mock scores were just 66 and 67%. But Amanda was right -- I could hear her voice, and answering the exam questions just felt like a continuation of what I'd been doing at home. I read the question before the stem and found that to be key. I kept careful track of time and finished with four minutes to spare. Honestly, by the end, I was glad I didn't have time to go back and second guess my answers!
Follow the program and stay with it even if you don't feel successful with the mock tests! The best advice was getting comfortable with uncertainty.
