Thank you TDC! I took my written and CV tests and passed both on the first try. I experience test anxiety but following Amanda's strategies and recommendations helped me to manage the anxiety, boosting my self-confidence. I can't recommend this program enough to my colleagues! Thank you Amanda!
The study techniques were excellent! When I sat down for the real exam it felt as if I was doing a TDC practice exam. I felt completely prepared and confident! I even had 15mins left at the end to go back to my 5 marked questions. I corrected two after having an "ahhh huh!" moment and then finished early! Thank thank you Amanda and team...you're really on to something here! Best study preparation out there!
I absolutely loved TDC. I appreciated how well organized all the study materials were and how they were divided into sections making it easier for me to manage my study time. What really helped for me were the mock exams with the rationales. The system that Amanda uses really helps with prioritizing the exam answers and knowing which one to pick. This is a reasoning based exam and TDC covers just that! Thank you all (including Asya) for being my mentors and assisting me in passing the Standard Written Exam on my first try!
I definitely recommend the TDC study program! The program was easy to follow and the structure really helped. I felt very prepared for the exam. I was amazed at how similar the questions on the mock exam were to those on the real exam!
I passed!!! I am so excited! I passed both exams the first time! This has been a long journey, but I am so glad I was introduced to TDC. The exam is done, however I feel like I learned so much and with passing the exam came such an assurance of how much knowledge I have for my chosen profession.
I was cramming this exam in on the last possible day (November 30), and was worried I wouldn't have adequate study time. I went through the steps at an expedited speed, and found this exam structure to be much easier than the first. Rather than focusing on content (I didn't review theories), I focused on the testing strategy and the wording of the exam. When I walked into the test it felt familiar and easy.
I passed both exams on the first try with TDC alone. These tests are a lot about strategy, and as far as I know, TDC is the only company who gives you all of the material you need to know AND reliable test taking strategy. The other test prep companies load you with an extreme amount of information (most of which will never be seen on the tests), which decreases your sense confidence and increases your anxiety (two things that lead many people to fail). TDC is by far the best program!
Going through the Therapist Development Center was LIFE CHANGING. I had taken the first exam, the MFT Written Exam 3 times (using other study materials; Gerry Grossman and AATBS) and missed each time by 1-2 points. This was extremely difficult and disheartening for me as I felt I knew the material but was missing "something" on how to take the actual exam.
I passed the MFT clinical vignette examination about three weeks ago and had my license issued by the board today! I am incredibly thankful for the Therapist Development Center. Without the amazing education and knowledge put forth by Amanda Rowan and her colleagues, I don't believe that I would have passed, let alone both exams on the first try. I would recommend the Therapist Development Center study system to anyone, and am already talking about the TDC with my colleagues and friends. Thank you TDC for giving me peace of mind while taking both exams.
This program is absolutely superior, effective, and empowering. I hesitated to answer this survey question asking if I used other study materials because I did look at other materials but I did not use them. Once I was involved in TDC's program, I just looked at other materials and found them incredibly confusing, disempowering, and sometimes featuring plain wrong information!! I decided to place my trust on TDC alone and it worked. I cannot say enough great things about TDC and could not recommend it more highly.
