Not only did the study material of TDC support me with passing both exams the first time, but it also helped me to be a better and more informed social worker and therapist. Thank you so much for making this program. I have told all of my friends and co-workers not to waste their time or money with other programs. TDC is the only option if you plan to pass the exam on the first try.
When I started studying for the LCSW exams I was overwhelmed and unprepared. I work in child welfare so I do not use therapy skills on a day to day basis. I was worried that this would work against me. My supervisor recommended your program and I purchased the materials for both tests. I love to study and I felt that the material was thorough and easy to use.

I really do not believe I would have passed this test the first time without Amanda and The Therapist Development Center. The system is clear, succinct, organized, and manageable. If you follow the system, you will pass the first time! If you have any test anxiety at all, this is a great path. TDC provides the information you need for the test, and does not waste your time and energy with things you do not need to memorize for the test.
I highly recommend The Therapist Development Center to all MSWs and MFTs in the testing process. The program was easy to follow and gave me the skills to understand the questions being asked and go through a process of elimination to find the right answer. The final pep talk was exactly what I needed to hear right before the test.
Using the TDC study system I was able to pass the CVE on the first try. I am so grateful for the ease of the study materials and the focus on what's really needed for the exam. I also appreciate how TDC breaks down the material so that you an get a good understanding of what the test is going to ask of you. I would say that the test taking strategies and the test anxiety techniques were the main keys to my passing the exam on the first try.
I would like to thank the Therapist Development Center for getting me through both my California Standard Written and Clinical Vignette Exams. I was able to go into both exams with confidence and pass the first time. I have colleagues that used other systems and failed, sometimes more than once! My experience was that the TDC material was everything that was important to passing and nothing that was extraneous. Thanks again, and I would recommend the system to anybody.
I purchased this program, studied diligently for 10 days, and passed on the 11th day. I would not recommend doing it in that short of a time period but it can be done. I don't believe I would have passed without this program. You get tests and quizzes and lectures and handouts. There is also email support from an actual person. It is all beautifully organized. It is designed for 5 or 8 weeks of study, but if you are committed to the process you can get it done sooner.
I just want to say THANK YOU TDC!!!! Without you, I am sure I would not be licensed right now. Amanda has an immense knowledge and expertise in her field and knows how to relay the info to make sense. I had studied AATBS and Berkley for the first two written exams and I failed both times. I was so discouraged and almost gave up, when I heard about Amanda Rowan and her prep course...TDC. You were a God send.
There could not have been any other test prep material for me than this one. It is so well organized (which I totally lack on my own) and it is very straight forward, you CAN'T go wrong. I'll be logging in again very soon for my purchase of (Part II) the vignette testing material. Thank you TDC for the pep talk feedback and advice. It was sooo useful and validating.
