OH MY GAWD I PASSED!!! THANK YOU AMANDA ROWAN!!! You have no idea!!! I NEEDED to pass this exam or else I was going to have to transfer to a different title and take a demotion at work! And you were right! I felt like I was failing--it felt like I was failing MISERABLY! But I didn't fail, I PASSED!!! Thanks to TDC!!!
I studied for approximately a year and a half. I began with AATBS. Their material overwhelmed me, because there was so much. The more practice questions I looked at and the more people I talked to who had taken the test, the more I realized I needed to focus my studying on key areas. I thought TDC did a good job of helping me to narrow my focus.
This study program was really what I needed. I didn't pass my first attempt when I used another program. With this program, I used the frames to help me determine what was being asked and to respond with the correct answers. Also, being able to eliminate the wrong answers quickly saved time and instilled confidence. I felt the test was difficult, but what I studied this time applied to what was presented and I PASSED. The first time around, I studied for over two months and, when I took the test, I felt like a fish out of water—overwhelmed.
I can't say enough about how terrific the Therapist Development Center's study program is! I used only this program and passed both the CA Standard Written and Clinical Vignette on the first try! The material was completely on target for both tests; it’s organized and easy to understand and integrate. Amanda's audios are personable, easy to follow, and enjoyable. I can hardly believe I am finally over the last hurdles and am an LCSW! I am very appreciative, and I can’t recommend this program highly enough - in fact I've already talked some friends into using it!
I passed my LCSW CV exam a couple of weeks ago & just wanted to say thank you!! As someone who over thinks & hates multiple-choice exams as a result, I know I would not have passed both exams on first try without TDC. Thank you Amanda for building confidence & teaching strategies minus the overwhelming fluff!! Wishing everyone in the process happy studying! There is light at the end of the daunting tunnel! Taking the practice tests and quizzes were so helpful! I tried another study system where it had 5 huge books that overwhelmed me! This had a plan and was easy to follow and made me so confident walking into the test!
With the test prep from Therapist Development Center, I felt completely confident and prepared when I walked into that test. Despite the fact that part of the prep was to assure us that it was okay to feel like we were failing while taking the test, I never felt like I was failing! I felt like I was nailing it the whole time! And I did nail it! THANKS SO MUCH!!! Now on to the last exam and I will be an LCSW!
I think TDC did a very comprehensive and accurate job with incorporating relevant study material and test questions. It was easy to follow along with and kept me very engaged throughout my studying process.
This study system prepared me with strategies to take the exam and pass. I'm not sure what I would have done without the guidance and problem solving skills I learned from Amanda. Thank you so much for this program.
I recently passed the standard written exam with Amanda's TDC study program! I am so thankful that I discovered TDC. It is a motivating study program that released me from my test anxiety and made it possible for me to believe in myself so that I could pass the standard written exam. The audio workshops are fabulous, the written study tools are so very helpful, and the test strategies that are taught work! TDC's study program encompasses everything that needs to be known for the standard written exam.
